Hello,

Along with my Taycan 4S, I got an invitation to the Silverstone Experience Day. A couple of questions for the people who have done it already:

- Will this be with Taycans or different cars? (I already did a corporate event day there, and it was with GT3s and 911 GTS)
- Does anyone know how much the "exclusive guest rate" is to bring a +1 to the track?

Thanks
A

I was quoted £30 for the guest - to cover the food part of it. Sure that was all.

I haven’t done mine yet (booked for 21st June although likely changing it)

I think you can get a guest and pay for their lunch (which I assume is the £30 quote rhey gave you) or a "driving guest" doing the track sessions which I'd assume it would cost way more?

The complimentary experience will be in the car you've bought. So if you bought a 911 you get a 911, if you bought a Taycan Turbo, you're in a Taycan Turbo etc. It's a chance for you to explore your new car's performance etc etc.

Bringing a guest I didn't do, but I'm pretty sure they are only allowed to watch from the restaurant. and won't be allowed to be a passenger. I'd suggest it would be exceptionally dull as i'm not sure you can see a great deal of the various driving areas. The food is nice enough, but i'd want to be taken somewhere with a couple of stars in exchange for sitting on my hands for 4 or 5 hours!

If you want them to drive as well, I guess you have to buy a full price ticket separately.

I've read posts (possibly on here) by people who split the driving with a companion, I think the only additional fee was for catering- recommend speaking to the SEC.

That was my understanding too (view from afar). I took my dad to my Land Rover one but am going alone to this.

I took my son and we split the driving 50:50 at no extra charge.

I took my son and they agreed to share the total allotted driving time between the two of us. We had a great lunch and enough driving. After a few launch controls though we wished we had not eaten so much?

Took my wife for free to Le Mans. I live in France. She was with me for all the drives usually in the front passenger seat.

Another option, for anyone taking a companion with an interest in the sport/fitness sciences and their own physical development, might be for them to have a session with the Porsche Human Performance team- they usually present their services at the initial event briefings, most attendees understandably don't want to sacrifice their driving time, but non-drivers might jump at the chance (probably best to check in advance with the SEC if anything needs prior booking).

For me there was no additional cost for a non-driving guest, but I had the option of ‘doubling up’ and have two people have the same experience (ie one car each). If I remember right, the cost was around £450.

Hi , I paid £475 for my son To go and have the same experience in his own car of choice including breakfast and lunch. I had a Taycan , he chose a 911 and we swapped cars at coffee break.

Amazing, thanks - that's what I was looking for.

Their food is definitely not worth my divorce bills if I'll bring my wife just to watch from outside ?
