I did send that link over to them - here is a cut and paste of their response:The battery linked in the previous post is listed at $26,892.58 as a NEW 93KWH battery from a Porsche dealer. What is the reason for the almost double cost showing in your quote? Is it the full MSRP vs. the other one is dealer selling it with less than full profit? I get that Porsche dealers markup is often 100%, but in case of such high priced item, shopping around could save you a ton of money.
Thanks for sending that over. That is not the correct battery for your Taycan.
As it stands for sourcing the battery, any repair facility has to submit a release request directly to Porsche for them to release any high voltage battery.
The Porsche parts system doesn't show any availability as all request for a battery or any related parts need to be specially approved for release.
