Past week my Taycan has felt very stiff even in normal mode. Anyone experience this?

It still changes mode, raises and lowers but the stiffness is very noticeable and different in Normal than it had been.

Also seems there is some jarring/rattle from somewhere.

If you live in area that can have cold weather, it’s totally normal for the suspension to feel stiffer as temperature drop.

Can you give more details?

Do you have a correct tyre pressure?

Even though you are in Normal drive mode remember that the PASM settings are independent - Sport / Sport Plus which gets gradually stiffer. Changing drive mode from Normal to Sport and back to Normal would reset to standard Normal settings etc.

Good question! Yes 38 on 20 inch all season tires. The tires are probably nearing end of life. Switching to winters in Dec.

It has been cooler but not yet cold. In 60s, and car starts garaged

Yes. I was thinking maybe it was out of sync, so I switched back and forth and height changed but ride quality barely changed compared to normal.

It goes in for unrelated recalls first week of Dec, guessing will learn more then.

I suspect it is the tires. What brand you have and how many miles on the tires. I am on original Continental All Season with almost 12k miles and noticed harsher drive in normal and a side wall crack, then looking at the Continental site for these tires, many show how they fall apart like they are made out of the Lego bricks.

Yes conti all season too. And they are reaching the end point for fronts at least. You are probably right,

Dec it goes in for EV charger cable, driver window issue, rear heater vents not working again, LTE down again, brake recall and winter tires ;)…and a slight rattle somewhere

I really appreciate Porsche MSP they work with my travel schedule it is like free airport parking, a car wash and fixed car on return heh,

Tires most likely as they just become brittle. My fronts are at 3mm and rears at 5mm, but check shocks and alignment to be sure. My alignment check was $200, but full alignment is $800.
