J11 / MY 2025 4S ST incoming

I've just pressed the button on swapping my MY2023 4S CT for a MY2025 42 ST. I picked up a 2 month and 880 mile old demonstrator registered in September so 74 plate for the benefit of UK members. Much higher spec than current one and lots I would not pay for on a factory order. Code below...

I was hoping to collect it tomorrow but the diagnostic checks have highlighted a faulty DC charger. OPC is expecting part by the end of the week so fingers crossed.

Just hope the new one is as faultless as the current one. It has never let me down and other than the heater recall which was done the same day as the first service and the recent ARB0 brake recall and few short term software glitches it has been superb.

I'll post some decent picks once I've got it

Thanks, £35.5k (28%) off the list price plus they had fitted the Porsche tracker which saved me paying £622 for it.
Matched Motorway/WBAC/specialist buyer on the current one so basic trade in price of £53k but I guess you can't have it both ways. I run my cars through a partnership so after tax allowance cost to change is £22k and I'll get the 100% FYA again on the new one as demonstrators are treated as new by hmrc

Yours is great spec too. Love the colour! I compromised because it was a demonstrator at a decent discount. I would have preferred 20" wheels again and another CT4S but one of my must haves is the HUD and I want a " very nearly new car" which really limits the choice of stock vehicles to about 7 or 8 in the UK atm

Appreciate that! I was considering HUD as well but not a fan of how the dashboard sits higher with it. Also, hoping not to miss it as I didn’t have it in my last car ?
I just wish it wasn’t November…in Sweden the car remains clean for about a minute. ?

Haha, I bet you're out washing it at least once a week..... My CT arrived on the 13th December and it was awful weather for a few weeks ?

That is awesome Simon ! I was considering the same but think I’m going to hang on for a while longer.. had considered a Macan but fell back in love with my Taycan. Getting a recall on Weds so if they give me a MY25 i might reconsider if i feel changes are enough…
