hey guys loving my Taycan. Bought a 2 year old one well actually nearly coming up for 3! Love the performance & drive! Come from an RS6 & also currently running a CLA 45s shooting brake, one little problem I have is a rattle that sounds like it’s inside the air vents. It almost sounds like a screw moving around ( just wondering if you guys had this ever? ) it’s a minor annoyance that I hear only when breaking or going over bumps. Great to join the forum also ???? cheers Mark

Maybe worth a try, I had a similar rattle, very annoying, and it turned out to be the rear parcel shelves. Took them out and rattle disappeared.

This might be helpful. This owner sounds like had a similar issue and it was a long process to troubleshoot but they figured it out and fixed it.

Hopefully you will get to the bottom of this. I would also check your radiator fans as well, as they are known to seize. That same youtuber has a video on that as well, and there are solutions on this forum. I would not be happy with any rattle in a Taycan.

I have been chasing a rattle/creak sound in our Macan GTS, not the same, but unacceptable to have it on any brand new car and it ended up the aluminum headshield rubbing on the bolt causing the sound to resonate through the frame. A really great tech at the dealer, traced that, bent the shield away from the bolt, and now we are enjoying rattle free experience.

@JaseH84 have you checked that the lugs are all sticking out correctly? I have read on the forum that this can cause the rear shelf to rattle if not in place, as the hold the shelf in position when the boot is closed. There should be 6 in total, 4 holding the non folding part and 2 for the folding part. Worth a try.

To the original OP, @markjon4s welcome to the forum. Sorry you have a small issue, hopefully this doesn't detract from your enjoyment.

I thought I had, but turns out the 2 for the folding section weren't out, just the 4 for the fixed part. I've refitted them now so hopefully that will sort it. Thanks!
