There are much cheaper tracking devices you can put in the car for that. An Airtags for one time $20 (wire it to the car if you don't want to change batteries), but if you want more real-time/reliable solution there are cell connected trackers, typically require a subscription, but less than $319 a year. Or have your wife enable location sharing with you on her phone (lots of solutions) for which you already pay a subscription.From a safety perspective I like being able to see where the car is parked on a map so if my wife gets into trouble and I don’t hear from her then I at least know where she parked and can go look for her. Other than that there are not really any features I absolutely need that I can’t do in the car itself for free…
