Switching from 20” to 21” wheels - anyone done this?

The CT ones are the only 20" wheel I quite liked but not available painted (to get rid of the "diamond turned" highlights I dislike so much).

Pretty cheap to get the wheels stripped and painted however you like.

Have you considered staggered 21" rear/20" front? It's a great look, plus the front wheels, which are most likely to suffer pothole damage, have more sidewall protection. The pictured setup is by @Adrian@GlasWerksDMV here on the Taycan Forum.

It isn't expensive but a bit of a PITA.
I am thinking of getting my 20" wheels with winter tyres stripped and painted Vesuvius Grey to match my 21s and the inserts on my CT when I put the summers back on.

Regarding your question on tire pressure, you need to set the wheel size and tire type in the PCM. Also check your manual, the pressure options are different depending on body type, wheel size, tire type and load weight.

Btw I have the Exclusive Design wheels with the carbon fiber blades. These wheels look amazing on a wagon body.

However, I think the wheels only look good with the dark CF or painted in contrasting dark body color , which gives the wheel spokes a slim profile as the eye is drawn to the aluminum. The wheel is also offered in full silver, without contrasting color makes the wheel look bulky.

I'm just in the process of doing this with my CT 4S.

It's on 20" ATM and I'm changing to all gloss black 21" Mission E.
I'm planning to use 19" or 20" for winter tyres and I don't really like the current 20" Aero (as per the OP's rims).

I've investigated the possibility of using some 19" Panamera rims and prepared this summary of Taycan sizes, which surprised me somewhat.
Apologies if there are any mistakes; I've worked on 24mm per inch and used some rounding, for the purpose of keeping the sums and numbers simple...

The ride on the 21"s is great as far as I'm concerned. The roads around here are awful, I just slow right down where necessary to avoid grand canyons.

As I've posted elsewhere, I'll swap to 19"s in the winters ahead.

The ride is the finest of any car I've owned.

I've had a couple of Audi A8s on air sussy and they were amazing, but I agree that the Taycan air sussy is also fantastic.

They are interchangeable.
I have a 21" set for summer and 20" with winter tyres.
The ride is not as good on the 21" but overall the ride is very good anyway, one of the notable features of the car.

The sidewalls are very prone to pothole damage on the 21" and since they are wider they have more drag hence inferior efficiency.

If the (painted) 21" Cross Turismo wheels were not by a country mile my favourite looking Taycan wheels and I liked any of the 20" offerings I would stay 20" winter and summer, but I don't like any of them.

This is very much my experience. 20" better for everything but personal taste available at the time.

Went from the original cross 20” wheels (now winterset) to 21” Vossen hf5 which are considerably wider.

a more bumpy ride than de 20” and less efficient power consumption.

I've also moved from the original 20 to hf5 21 inch. I think it looks much better. Mine make the wheels too exposed, so I may have missed the width calculations. I've also painted the inside of the wheel brakes and it looks much better now.

Ive just gone from 20" aero to 22" Vossen hf5. Rears are 335 x 25 x 22. I dont find the ride a problem.

mine look more dished but could be color. I followed the vossen specs for the CT
