I have exactly the same issue. What is the solution?

I just had my dealer replace the seals of all 4 doors for this. Guess I got lucky since they covered it. However I do wonder why the solution is to clean when the problem is not consistent with the seals being dirty. If it was simply a dirty seal, why doesn't the area by the glass turn green too. Is it a different foam material?

I also wonder what solution/process they recommend to do the cleaning with. I wash my Taycan around every other week with fresh water and ph neutral car soap (by hand and low pressure hose) and I always wipe down the door jams and wipe down the seals as part of the wash, so it's highly unlikely that any dirt would accumulate on the seals. Additionally, the back doors are so infrequently opened that I honestly think that my opening them to wipe down the spray from the wash is the only time they really open, yet they were just as green as the drivers door on my car, which gets a lot more use.

Something isn't adding up in this explanation.

Ah bummer. Was hoping for new door seals.... ☹
You do not want new door seals. The impact on factory fit of the trim will be compromised and you will get more problems. You just have to clean with a rubber cleaner product and then protect with a rubber protectant product.

Interesting. I just noticed this on my buddies car over the weekend. Same thing.

I thought it was just pollen dust.

I'd use some 303 on them.
