Hi all,

Just wondering at what point does the Spoiler deploy? I assume like the 911 it comes up at a specific speed, but does it only do it in a specific mode? How does one know it is up/down?
Is there a way of manually deploying it like there was on my 911? Other than the "cleaning mode" setting I have seen in the menu somewhere.

FWIW, its a 2022 Taycan Turbo (saloon, not CT)
Cheers

ah great, thank you so much a tad confusing but i think i get it.
but a couple of questions
1) does the lowering happen the same for all of the modes? as marked?
2) does the launch control follow the sport plus patteren when it hits 90kmh ?
3) i noticed a little icon on the right side of the steering wheel (next to the pasm height icon) which looks like it is something to do with the spoiler, I only noticed it come on when i changed to sport plus. does that mean that the icon only shows when its in position 3? (i was probably going about 60mph at the time, which means it was lvl3 in sport plus or level 1 in sport)

I believe the icon displays whenever the spoiler is up at any level. You can confirm by driving in Range mode- spoiler deploys, but at a much lower height than at high speed in Sport Plus.

well i did. I was driving at the constant speed in sports plus the light came on ... flicked it to any of the others and the light went off.

It would be great to be able to deploy manually, like in my former C4

From my experience, 55mph in range mode deploys the spoiler - you get the icon on the cluster.

70mph in normal mode (might be tad above 70), sports plus is around 60mph (I can’t remember but it does deploy sooner than normal

The spoiler dash indicator only shows spoiler deployment stage in range and sport+ drive modes (quite possibly in Sport as well but only stage 2 and 3--someone fact check me on this). In normal drive mode the indicator does not show at all, even though the spoiler is deployed.

Exactly like the graph @sveinaan shared.
Stage 1- 56mph
Stage 2- 99mph
Stage 3- 124mph

A great video on the intricacies of the Taycan aero system---so keep your sh*t tucked in at 0mph.
