Does anyone know what the impact of yesterday's lockdown announcement is on new car collection/delivery? I am due to collect on Saturday?

Not specifically, no. But I can tell you that my car was collected from the dealer for detailing today on a transporter, so they're open enough for that to happen.
I suspect you'll be able to collect the car but expect them to throw the keys across the car park at you rather than do any sort of handover. They were talking about video "masterclasses" (i.e. via Zoom or something similar) when I spoke with my dealer yesterday.

Wolverhampton are open still (for example) for click and collect.

My car is arriving Thursday from Cambridge, Am Aberdeen so you shouldn’t have an issue.

I picked mine up under tier 4 restrictions and it was fine. I didn’t get much help with how things work, but I was just grateful to get the car.

Got it! Picked it up this morning. Fabulous service from the dealership - 40 minute "how to use the features on your car" sent yesterday followed by a helpful and smooth pickup today. Love the car!
