I just came across this thread and have been dealing with this issue since December.
I have a 2023 Cross Turismo and subscribed to Porsche Connect after the three year free plan expired in January. Apple Music, and Apple Podcasts have stopped working for me intermittently. Originally rebooting the PCM seemed to fix the issue, only to stop working a few days later. Calendar, weather and other online services seemed to be working fine. Online radio would sometimes stop working when I would loose Apple Music and sometimes not. I also did receive the message about Data package not configured. I do see LTE displayed in the PCM.
I contacted Porsche about a month ago and was told that this is an issue on Porsche's end and that they are working on it.
Interestingly, these services have continued working on my 2023 911 which is still in the free 3 year period. This makes me believe that there may be a hardware issue specific to Taycans which Porsche has not recognized.

I had sent photos to PCNA to report the online radio outage. PCNA never got back to me.

It started working again after 16 day outage.

I called to ask what was done to restore service. Porsche connect rep said the problem was escalated to Germany, where it was fixed. No details on the fix were provided by Germany.
I requested reimbursement for the outage. He said he would submit the request for review.

There could possibly be a hardware issue with your LTE module but before you do anything about it I would suggest doing the fuse pull to reset it. I forget which fuses. I always have to Google it. Usually you only do that when you loose the LTE symbol and you have no data at all. That happened to me last Fall and the fuse pull fixed it. I didn't want to wait weeks to get an appointment at my workshop. If you are not comfortable with that you can make an appointment and have your workshop do it for you but usually they won't computer reset it unless it is not working or something is not working correctly. When I did it I not only puled the 2 fuses indicated on the forums but also found another fuse labeled for the com box or whatever. It was a chore getting the cover off and the covers on the fuses off etc. Hope to never have to do it again but if I need to I know how. You can also do this with a disconnect of the 12v. You will need to google that procedure also as I don't recall if you pull the positive or the negative terminal. I've only did this once out of desperation the first time I got the red ring of death. That did not fix that problem but the car did recover on its own while it sat at the workshop while we were on vacation for a week.

If your comm box is functioning correctly and you have the LTE symbol and not plagued by the data package outage, which has been resolved. Then usually an occasional PCM reset will do the trick. Knock on wood mine has been rock solid since Porsche fixed the back end. It's actually been more reliable in the respect than before it was down 3 months for a battery repair. I was on o long free trial of Apple Music but shortly after they fixed the data packages on the back end I have switched to Spotify. It does bork out once in a while in fringe areas and I did have to reboot the PCN once to get it to play after my phone using Android Auto and the built in app were fighting over my account. Just pressing play when it said another device was streaming did not fix that. I've since had to reset the PCM recently due to an odd smart service issue I ran into which I found a PCM reset may not have been needed. I've found with this car that if you don't reset the PCM every 3-6 months that eventually it will have issues. It's kinda like an old MS Windows Intel PC and needs a reboot once in a while. However my car received all available updates while in the shop so who knows what improvements there has been.

Thank you so much for your message. A reset will fix the issue but Apple Music and Podcasts will stop working again after a few days. This issue started after Porsche replaced my onboard charger so I am certain it is a hardware issue.
