A lot of things have happened since the last run so expect cost to increase for this run. Last time I quoted it was a minimum of 4-5 sets just to break even so if you wish to lower cost for yourselves, gathering more interest 'should' help spread that cost. I am doing this to help our forum members out along with my machinist.
I design military aircraft parts thus we are AS9100 certified so nothing I move through our process comes cheap. I do not wish to supervise another (external) thread but feel free to create one and point them here and I will happily deal with our forum members.
Sounds good!

I literally joined taycanforum just to sign on for these bars. I bought a roof rack, but I really don't wanna.

Count me in. I think I am #5?

If for whatever reason it’s a challenge to get these made, I can put in another order with my supplier too. Just let me know.

Should we post in Taycan forums on Reddit and FB to get more support?
I think there’s at least 5 of us interested in the racks now to make an order work? But I’ll wait to hear from the OP on his thoughts.

You might be #6. I too joined for this reason.
However, there’s a lot of great information on this forum. Some I hope to never have to utilize!

Thank you! You’re the true OP, right?
Honestly, whatever’s easiest is great. I’d be curious to hear how pricing has changed since the last runs. Do you have updated pricing?
Thanks again!!

I'll let @Mad Matter have the right of first refusal as he did a good job on the last batch. I'm not travelling as much this spring/summer so it's no problem for me to get back into it if needed at the same price as in the past. No minimum order.

Hi. I just bought a Taycan Cross Turismo and am very interested in a bike rack.
Did you ever make any of the bars? If so, do you have any left? If not, do you have any plans to make them? I’d be interested in the double 32.
Thanks!
You can add me to the interest list.
Add me to the list as well!
I'm up for a set for double carriers. Are they predrilled like the ones in the photo in post 61? That would be great!
I am also interested
I am interested as well.

Has anyone researched less expensive bike trays to use with this? I don't mind have to drill new holes in a different tray to make it work with the rails.

Thanks

being on car forums since 2003 taught me this method. when collecting a list of users each successive user should just append their username to the then current list as a reply to the thread. This way, it can be collected simply in the most recent post. Reply to the post if you want to be dropped by editing your name out. And if you have specification requests like "single carrier", then you can enter it as text next to your username.

So up to now the list is this, and the next interested party would log it name as #8 to this reply and so on and so forth

Hi Willy,

Can you let us know how you got the discount on the 1up racks?

Thanks

I already ordered the aluminum tubing and some hardware I was short. I am still waiting to hear back on machine time and anodizing cost for the lot.
