My Porsche app stop updating on May 13th at 4:30pm. Now it’s May 15th & still no current status of vehicle…
Is this a Porsche server issue?

I doubt it,, as mine is fine. I'm not sure how it worked but you can always try to reboot the PCM. Two fingers on the top right corner while the vehicle is stationary. No guarantee but it is free to try,

Everything works perfectly in the vehicle but both my account & my wife’s account will not update to our iPhones since May 13th at 4:30pm.
I spoke with Porsche and they said they are unaware of any server issues which would cause this problem.
They did say it is definitely an issue on Porsche’s end and I should wait 48 hours & try again.

Living in OC, too. No server issue, my app works fine.
Had the same issue in the past, waited over a month then brought it back to the service center, they fixed it with a software update
Others are not so lucky, many owners had to replace PCM. There are many discussions on the forum.

Damn, I doubt resetting the PCM will do anything since the PCM works fine and the PCM communicates with the Porsche server with no issues.
Both of our iPhone apps won’t update regardless if we are in the car, 100 feet from the car or miles away.
I deleted & reinstalled to app, reset the phones and nothing worked.
The only thing I can think of is of the outbound communication to the Porsche server is not working so it can’t update in the apps on our phones but I’ve noticed software updates successfully be downloaded & installed with no problems. I’ll wait for it to come back alive after 48 hours as PCNA suggested but after that I’ll make an appointment to get it looked at.
At least I’m still under warranty until January 2030 if the PCM must be replaced. Not a big deal but just annoying once you get used to checking the SOC from anywhere.

I’ll try the reboot in the vehicle and hope that will help. Maybe the PCM is not sending the vehicle status back to the Porsche server. I just tried the horn & unlock functions and they don’t respond either so it could be the communication from the PCM…

Just rebooted the PCM but still no updates. It is trying to do a software update though. It was able to download & start the software installation which it says will take up to 7 minutes…. Software update failed.
I’ll set up an appointment to have it looked at…

Mine has been working fine so far...
The update failed with a message stating “No data connection to the vehicle can currently be established.”
My service advisor agreed there is likely something wrong with the PCM since it cannot make a connection to the server. I’m scheduled to bring it in next week. I’m hoping a software/firmware update solves in quickly.

J1.2 has removed the two fingers reboot, but I tried everything else. Service Center tried to completely reboot the car, but that didn't work either.

I've tried many things but nothing works. I troubleshoot with PCNA on the phone and sent them pictures to prove SOS light was green, and cell signal are all working. I stopped at logout the PCM, because I didn't want to take any chance that I can't log back in again.

I hope they can figure out quickly why it’s not working when I bring it in for service next week.

Had this a few weeks ago. No LTE connection, tried two finger reboot but didn't work either.

Finally fixed it by disconnecting the 12v battery in the frunk for 45 mins then connecting back up. LTE symbol on PCM returned and everything started working fine again. I did have it booked into my OPC to get checked out but the battery disconnect fixed it.

I may try that as well but since I have the appointment for this Friday the 22nd I’ll let them know that disconnecting the battery for 45 minutes solved the problem for another Taycan owner. I’m hoping they can figure out why it stopped working in the first place.
