After years of 911's and Caymans, I decided to also go for a Porsche for my daily.
I chose a Gen 2 Taycan C4S spec'd exactly as this one:

I will add pictures of my own and personal impressions shortly, but I am so pleased after a month and 2.000 mile driving it that I needed to share my enthusiasm.
Many may not agree, but it drives like a real P-car and it is a dream for long commutes.
Awesome specs! Congratulations on your beauty. I couldn’t agree more on the behaviour. She definately reminded me vividly as well of an ‘80’s 911!

Welcome! I’m similar - drove 911s and Boxster before kids, then moved away to more practical cars, now that the kids are older, have gone Taycan as well.

Greetings from Afton, Virginia. Just picked up a 2024 TTS yesterday. This beauty:

Sorry, crappy picture I know, but it poured down rain most of the 2 hours drive back from the dealer, after they had just spend a couple of hours detailing it for me.

Came with some nice options too:

Only 16k on it with 2 years of warranty left. Paid less than $100k out the door, which I felt was quite the bargain.

Only issue I have found is that the Light strip with "porsche" in black does not work. Will call local dealer Monday to schedule having them look at it.

Other thing I'm waiting on is for Porsche to validate my Porsche ID since I purchased it from a non Porsche dealer. Quite annoying having to dismiss the setup, every time I start the car until I can actually log in.

Coming from a Lyriq, this is quite a step up! Before the kids, I had a E60 M5 which was a lot of fun, but nothing like a TTS!

Looking forward to interacting with all you fine folks here!

Holy crap what a steal imho. I paid $95k for a 4S with an MSRP of $150k back in December. Welcome!

Hello, all! My name is Fred and I just took this beauty home today! We're long-time EV enthusiasts, with 2015 and 2017 Model Ss and an old Nissan Leaf. (Daughter-in-law just bought a Mach-E. We're so proud!)

After a visit to Porsche Experience Center in LA about a month ago to drive my dream car, the 911 Turbo, I couldn't get of my head how incredible Porsche's driving dynamics and build quality were. (I've always joked that with the older Teslas, you were buying a product from a tech company that just happened to be a car. 😆) Having wanted a Porsche since I was 11, and being fully converted to EVs, the Taycan really spoke to me.

After much shopping for CPO examples, this is my choice. It's a 2025 dealer "executive" car, so I'm the first registered owner. It has the Premium package, so I'm still getting used to all the goodies. My wife loves the massage seat!

Cheers!

Fred

Congrats and welcome ! We had a 2022 Nissan Leaf and it was our 1st EV. The Taycan is our 5th EV and a 2023 Mini Cooper SE is our 6th.
