Charge cable stuck in Taycan

Had my Taycan for 3 weeks today and this has happened twice now - taking it in for service tomorrow but curious if others have had this issue. Finished charging at an EA station and the cable won't disconnect from the vehicle. First time was last week and I played around with various things (turn car on/off, restarted charging briefly, etc...) for about 10 min before it finally disconnected. Today was worse - took 30 minutes and there happened to be an EA tech there - he literally took the cover off the cable head, unscrewed the 'button' so it was fully open - and it still didnt' work. Finally was able to disconnect it. Battery display shows red at first, but then changed to green eventually. Still couldn't get it out. Button at the charge door was red but I could hit it and it turned white every time. When white, still couldn't pull the cable out.

Key fob was in my pocket the whole time. Uh, don't think I tried specifically unlocking the passenger door - but I did call my dealer who said to lock and unlock the vehicle and then try it. Didn't work.

Happened to me once. Seems like a communication issue between car, charger and app. If it doesn’t time out or resolves itself by locking/unlocking, There is an emergency release procedure in the manual. A secret button in the gap between the fender and the door. Apparently you have to take it workshop afterwards (probably to check it all out).

Did you try to release through the charging connector release in the PCM ? Do this before the manual release. Go to the charging section in the PCM and select the three dots on the lower right-hand corner and there you will find a charger connection release option.
