A ticking sound from rear door

I have issue that my Taycan have a ticking sound keep beeping even I shut down the car. It is from the rear left door. It's kind of like a bomb inside my car.... Can anyone tells me what it is. My Taycan is the RWD version. Thank you guys!

Not a animal sound, it is a electric sound. Like a clock ticking.

Yes, I have it. But do you mean that is the sound of the clock? But how come it is from the rear door?

I’ve always heard the same ticking sound from my rear doors. It sounds just like a ticking clock. It doesn’t bother me but I would be curious to know what it is!

It is normal. Not sure what causes it - perhaps the cooling system for the battery or indeed related to the air suspension (in my case). I don't have chrono but I have a tick. I don't hear it now but know its there.

I've asked many taycan owner, seems they all have this isse. When the car start up, the clocking sound will disappear, when it parked. The sound come back... Who the hell knows what's wrong here.

That's strange. I noticed the ticking sound too. it's coming from both rear doors, and I don't have air suspension.

I have it on both rear doors. Still don't know why it's there.

I have the ticking sound on both rear door areas.... I had brought in my car and the dealership remounted a wiring harness, but now the sound is on both sides, but not at the same time... I told them about a pinched air line, but it wasn't repaired... I guess I'll get them to look at it next time the car is in...

Do cars without air suspension have an air line? My RWD has the rear-right door ticking too.

Hey, guys. I found out the ticking sound relate to your key. When the key is flashing. The sound appreas. When the key apart from the car, the flashing stops along with the sound! I don't know why but now the question is why the key is flashing when park the car!

Key has a proximity sensor and so when near (within 2m) it will start flashing. If you have comfort access and the option enabled in the PCM the doors will unlock as you approach etc.

When you lock the car the key will flash quickly until door handles are retracted and then flash slowly whilst you are in close proximity. When outwith the range the key will stop flashing. Note that keeping keys near to the car for long periods will likely drain your 12V battery which is not a place you want to be,

This is normal behaviour on all Porsches and is well documented in the Porsche Good To Know App.

Ticking - not sure I've heard that one but there are generally all sorts of sounds. Pre-heat / pre-cool on unlock (option on PCM) may be part of it as are the active aero bits (which you can't control). I have air but have my pre-heat / pre-cool disabled on unlock and I don't hear ticking.
