AMB5 went live in the Netherlands

Just got a text from the PC, he's inviting me to make an appointment to apply the AMB5 update to my Turbo.

I got mine (posted on the forum) yesterday. Notification appears in My Porsche plus on the Recall Checker on the Porsche main web site.

As far as I know you can wait on it if everything goes smoothly. The patch to install takes an hour I was told.

No, I mean which vehicles are affected, haha!
Mine is 16 months old and didn't have any issues whatsoever.

Mine also does not have any problems but it solves a software problem that can bring your car to a unexpected standstill which can be dangerous for instance if it happens in a tunnel.

It only affects 10.373 vehicles (of 40.000+ sold) so that's why I asked.

I think it affects everybody who had the wma5 installed before June 2021 I believe and I did.

I have a MY21 car so I think it is broader. The update can take 1hr to 5hrs depending on various things. I've just booked mine in for next Weds.

Yes, this is for North America. It doesn't list my VIN / VIN range but I've been informed I need the update. Therefore this is not an exhaustive list.

SImply wait until you are informed either by letter or via the My Porsche App to know if you require the update or not.

My VIN number is in the VIN range listed in this document so it is not only North America.
