Good luck! Pretty sure we were on the same boat, mine is still at San Diego port, but it will come soon enough. I can't complain, I hear other companies aren't navigating the chip shortage quite as elegantly.

Turns out the steering column is manual. Salesperson doesn't seem too in the know. I will not leave without some guarantee they will retrofit.

Have your dealer show you their computer screen like I posted and @Jase700 posted. That is from their internal system and it shows you the open campaigns on your car.

I mentioned it but no dice. BUT, they gave me a signed letter that when the part are available they'll do the retrofit.

When Jase posted his, I took a screen shot and sent it to my salesman and asked him to pull it. I was curious what parts were missing on my car. I bet if you call the 1800 Porsche number and give them your vin, they can tell you what open campaigns there are on the car.

Apparently my car is missing a key, the TPM, the telephone console, and the acoustic simulator. My dealer is looking into pulling the tpm from another Taycan.

What is the telephone console? Does it require a chip?

My car is at the port so no ability to get the TPSM sensors from another car unless they send it to him.

The wireless charging pad in the middle console or the onboard sim card thing for the car maybe?

That was my guess, sport sound or speaker under the rear end.

OK. Here's the result of my visit. Still missing one key, and I have my letter confirming they'll retrofit the steering column. However, we couldn't get my account set up in the car and now I have to deal with that somehow.

That said, the car is awesome. Better than I expected and about 10 steps up from my Model X. Wow. So glad to have a Porsche again. And it looks fantastic, so much better in person than in pictures for some reason.

My coworker just bought an X7 and they rebated him $400 because they don’t have the chips for the wireless charging pads. So could be that..

I thought that the phone pad under the middle console had some sort of wifi to boost the phone signal so that may be what needs the chip.
