same here.
On July 23, my delaer sent me a note, that car left production line, they got VIN.
A week later, a sad update: quality control holds my car because of missing TPMS. No info about new delivery date.
Ffactory is closed for summer holidays (August 09-23).

Next info is promised for August, 24.
Dealer expects that they’ll get car by the end of August…. I don’t :crying:
Interesting that some cars get held in the factory for QC due to the missing TPMS, yet others like mine make it out of the factory and are held at the arriving port for the same reason.

It’s logical.
they are sending cars to the States…and they’ll deliver chips by DHL when they’ll get them.
In Europe delivery goes by trains or trucks in a day or two….

Gotcha. That makes sense.

So is your car in Jacksonville too? I think the Felicity Ace was the vessel before the one my car came on (Siem Aristotle). My salesman said they heard the TPSM were the delay, but the it might be sooner than the 9/24 date. I am thinking Porsche just shoved the date out a month to give them time to get the missing parts.
Mine was on Felicity Ace (dropped off in port in Baltimore), and now the date went from 8/12 to 10/1... Not great. TPSM is my delay also.

Mine just left Emden on the Helios Ray earlier than expected (heading to West Coast), however the actual delivery date has also gone back to 10/1. Looks like extra "Port Processing" makes up the new delay.

Keep us posted! My car was ‘ready’ at the 28th, so more or less same timeframe. So when you get confirmation I get a ballpark idea of when mine will be completely ready ?

Ordered my CT in May for July delivery-three updates from the dealer all of which have no clear commitment date due to chip availability. The car is built but held at in a field near the factory. In the grand scheme of things and given what’s going on in the world, how lucky am I to be able to have only this as a frustration. I suspect priority is given to markets where margins are the highest-Perhaps not the uk?

I agree, end of August is 12 days away. (edit - did not realize they can ship to you faster).

My car is sitting in the Jacksonville, FL port (3 hour drive from my dealer) and TYD is telling me expected delivery at the dealer is 9/24/2021. I am not sure TYD is accurate, but it is the TPSM that is the delay. If the car was at the dealer, couldn't they swap the TPSM from another car (like other members have had happen) and deliver it?

factory is closed till 23, so end of August is actually only 8 days away.
on the other hand, I’m just few hundreds miles away from Stuttgart…..

speaking about swaping TPSM.
according to my dealer, they’d do that for me (they have two CTs in the store), but factory refused that.

Why would they ask the factory for permission? Swapping a module would let them sell a car now rather than having 3 sitting there unsold. I hope my dealer doesn’t ask but I know it depends on how accessible the module is.

If factory doesn't ship the car without TPMS to the dealer, then....
Maybe I haven't made myself clear enough: dealer asked factory to release the car, so they'd arrange transport, but factory refused that...

Given the amount of money Porsche now has parked up in fields around Zuffenhausen due to missing TPM units, I don't understand why they can't throw themselves round and implement a software solution through ABS brakes for the interim.

If at the factory, dealer has no way to swap. If at the dealer, swap and beg for forgiveness from the higher up.
They have cars in fields (guessing empty land) around the plant? Love a drone shot of that.

Same as mine, 10/1 date in TYD to Marin, CA - I'm doing delivery at PEC LA so we'll see what date that ends up being. PEC is saying 10/22 or some such right now

My CT (Turbo S) is finished at the Porsche factory. It is now just waiting for the last microchip parts. Can anyone out from experience tell me when I can expect the car to be delivered ?
