I haven't tried. I'm guessing it would work with some more dissambly, but whenever I'm bringing more than 1 bike I either put them on the back or the roof.
No problem for me with back seats down and front wheel off (large 29er hardtail). The other option is the roof. Given that the car is low, lifting the bikes is fairly straight forward.
Mine broke when folding in the trays after use - of course they might already have been weakened at that point. I never put any heavy e-bikes on it though. The most important thing is to never use any force when folding them. Problem is that the whole contraption is a bit over-complicated with...
I can confirm that the hinges for the plastic trays are a weak point. Mine broke, but I got a new one on warranty.

Important to put pressure on the back arch when you flip them, as per the helpful...
The benefit norway has is that EV adoption has been gradual over the last 15 years (through tax incentives). This has allowed the charging infrastructure to organically grow and almost keep up with the number of EVs on the road.
Yes, in most cities it's still possible. That was something that drove early adoption around Oslo. But now that 40% of all cars in Oslo are electric (and about 25% in the country as a whole) that benefit is starting to disappear, especially in Oslo.
Main reason is no vat or other taxes (up to to $45k) on electric cars wheras a typical plug-in hybrid would be taxed at somewhere in the range of 50%.
Excellent charging infrastructure and reasonable electricity prices ensures that people stay satisfied with their purchase.
Road tolls and...
You wrere part of a record! Never has there been a wetter August in the westcountry of Norway .
Thanks for sharing - great thread. Hope to see you back soon. For future reference, April to June are usually the drier months.
Porsche here in Norway did give me a new rack on warranty :like: . Perhaps a bit worrying that they gave me a whole new bike rack rather than just replace the small broken plastic bit. The rack is produced by Atera, but sufficiently different from any of their other models to be helpful for...
At least it's easy to spot oncoming traffic when there is no lighting in the tunnel. Not so much fun when you're cycling and you forgot the bike light at home
You can also use the porsche mobile charger plus, but with some intricate button pressing to switch between the earthing modes - takes me 5 attempts every time.
In case you'e making your way to the fjords through the southwest I would highly recommend trying out the official scenic roads rather than staying on the main E39.
The coastal road south of Stavanger is really nice and really gives a indication of the span of scenery in Norway (more like...
I only have light non e-bikes on the rack. Min broke when folding in the trays. There are tabs on the plastic part that broke. These have to press in a stiff spring loaded mechanism that is securing the upright loop with the bike arms. I always had to use some force to overcome the spring...
Doh... mine broke in the same exact spot  Did you find som spare part or some way to fix it? I'll bring it to Porsche Norway and see if they also claim misusage...
Yes, these prices are complete rubbish in Norway. It's 20% cheaper to pay the providers directly. Ionity is also no longer competitive. Considerably cheaper to get an ionity membership for 5 euros/month and get a discounted rate that way. Although I guess the convenience of the charging card is...
Weather didn't cooperate on providing any northern lights? Hopefully the sights made it worth it after all? Hopefully not too rough ferry ride given the rather stormy forecast.
Think about us cross turismo owners. A mere months after I received my car they released the sport turismo. Now I'm stuck with these damn plastic arches
