The Porsche center here in Norway will turn off the interior alarm permanently if you ask them to (after you sign that you wont blame them if someone breaks into your car). While not optimal, it's at least more convenient than constantly having to double press the key.
Plenty of people drive around with 10 year old winter tires without much problems. A relatively new set of European style ones will be much better, so my guess is that you'll do just fine. But winter conditions can be unpredictable.
I think foot packs are only required for flush rails. On the CT raised ones there is a rubber band that keeps them in place.

I think the Thule bars for the CT rails are generic in design. All you need to buy is the 9585 model that are the ones with the correct width. The bars are spring loaded so the width doesn't have to be exact.
The Thule bars seem to fit great. Installation is super easy. The shoes are nice and rubbery so shouldn't cause any damage to the gloss black paint on the rails. The bars themselves are quite low profile but I managed to fit my Yakima bike rack without problems.
Same thing happened to me. Ordered in March with August delivery. In June the allocation got re-assigned to MY22 with October delivery and the car is now finally on route to Norway. My dealer was nice enough to inform me when it got pushed back though. It only started production in September and...
I have to admit that I chickened out in the end due to lack of photographic examples and the less than full-throated endorsement from my sales advisor. I went with beige interior in the end. I still think it looks great with Gentian blue, but Neptune is perhaps a bit too light?
Have you been informed about the VIN? I'd be interested to know if all cars produced after the factory shutdown are MY22. As far as I know if the 10th digit is N then it's a MY22. I.e. is the VIN something along the lines of WP0ZZZY1Z N SA***? If the N is an M then it's still a MY21.
The extra seat in the back also gets you the 40/20/40 folding seats compared to the standard 60/40. Useful if you're planning to bring long items like skis.
Given the amount of money Porsche now has parked up in fields around Zuffenhausen due to missing TPM units, I don't understand why they can't throw themselves round and implement a software solution through ABS brakes for the interim.
Ordered a CT4 in early March with estimated production in July. Got word in June that production had been delayed until September with October delivery. When I checked a few weeks ago the order had reached V210 status, which I guess indicates that the configuration is accepted. Lock date...
Pretty much the exact limit I put myself at

I guess I could have opted for a stripper 4S but in the end I put my money into more interior goodies
Does anyone know if dealer has any influence on which orders get put into production and which ones get delayed. Or is it purely a question of “computer says no” whenever they look at the Porsche scheduling?
Having had the build delayed until September, means more time agonizing over options. Yay

While having settled on Neptune blue exterior, I’m still torn on the interior. I really like Bordeaux red, but not many examples of that combination on the web (perhaps for a good...
Well, plant isn't shut down so some lucky people should get to keep their slot. Although there probably is a lot of delayed May/June production that has to be slotted in.
My CT4 just got pushed from July to September production. Only positive thing is that it's now slated to be a MY22 according to dealer. Hopefully there'll be some goodies in the new configurator once it's released.
On the topic of odd things having disappeared from the MY22 configurator, there doesn't seem to be the option of privacy glass in Canada? Too cold and dark up there in the frozen North?
