I think the recall notice might only be for US customers. In Norway we got a separate email, with no notification in either app or website. Perhaps someone that has the update could post a screenshot of the new version information in the PCM?
In case you want to try out the more quaint hotels in Norway I can recommend those that are part of a chain called The Historic. Definitely something out of the ordinary.
Hopefully the weather clears up before you arrive here in Norway. Currently somewhat atrocious here in the west. Certainly no shortage of snow :) Before crossing any of the mountain passes it's a good idea to check the current conditions via the highway authority website. There is also a nice...
Yup, did see pretty much the same when charging on a wet day (about 0 deg C) after about 20min on an Ionity charger. Didn't even go over 150 kW charge rate.
For people that want to test out google translate of Norwegian they can read a winter range test of the cross turismo 4. It ended up with 402 km range in snowy conditions between 0 and -8 degrees celsius. The cars with the longest range like the Tesla model 3 and Mercedes EQS got about 110 km...
As mentioned, studded tires are not needed unless you live in the arctic countryside. Even in Norway studless winter tires have about 90% share in the main cities. I can highly recommend the Hakkapeliitta R3 that is developed for nordic climate (read icy...). Winter tires is always a tradeoff...
Would of course be helpful if I quoted the correct values for turning circle . I think it should be 11.7m without and 11.2m with RAS. Only half a meter difference, but should still be possible to measure.
How about going to a parking lot and measure the turning circle? It should be 10.4m with RAS and 11.2m without. Almost a metre difference should be possible to reliably measure.
I was going to do a last hop to a charger along the route. I had about 15% remaining with estimated 6% at arrival. All seemed well. Outside temperature was about -1 celcius with battery temperature about 3 degrees. I put in the charger as destination and I could see that it started pre-heating...
I would question the need for 22kW charger in Norway. Not only is the option expensive but here in Norway we will now have a component of the electricity bill that is related to maximum power used. So if you use the 22kW charger you get charged an extra 40€/month. On the road 50kW CCS chargers...
Given the prevalence of camera based road toll schemes I’m not sure switching to gps is that much worse from a privacy standpoint. There are however numerous opportunities to integrate this with insurance rates and automatic speed ticketing.
Is it just me or is Porsche confusing us with overly similar names for their features? Lane Keep Assist (LKA) is a standard feature in most markets I think and is nudging you when it thinks you're drifting out of lane. It can get very annoying on small roads without central road marking as it...
Given that they follow the pattern of the 21” Exclusive Design rims, I would say yes. However, the rims that I got are all the same, and thus rotate opposite direction on left and right side of the car. Before calling up the dealership to scream at them I figured I’d check online. The pictures I...
