Now am I the only one that every two weeks pinches his pinky in the lever to open the door from inside? Lol

Sorry, I don’t understand what does it mean; English is my 3rd language only.

Is it the little needle that's hidden in there? That's used to implant microchips so that you can also be linked to Porsche Connect as part of their upcoming 5G program. But it'll need an upcoming software OTA update to start working.

They’re just dummy microchips. Porsche is implanting the real ones later, when they come in.

It appears that the Taycan forum members are getting even more creative on how to make a post complaining about something.

True! But thank God that’s all I have to complain about. Everything else is AMAZING!!!

until they will pull me over….

anyway this was not supposed to be a serious thread, I was just wondering if it happened to anybody else, which apparently it has thank you everybody!

I've done this a couple of times, then realized what caused it, so haven't had this trouble since then.

I couldn't possibly fit my pinky in there, but have done it with my ring finger. What happens is: my fingers slide down a millimeter or two while pulling the handle, then I relax the pressure on the handle while my finger is still between the bottom edge of the handle and the door panel. Ouch!

Now I simply put my hand against the top of the opening when reaching in behind the handle, and when I release it, I let it go (see what I did there?) allowing the handle to slip away from my fingers.

It's amazingly easy to remember to use caution when operating the handle now. I guess a little negative behavioral reinforcement a la pain goes a long way.
