I cancelled (did not renew) my Porsche Connect Services last year and posted about it here. In general, it's fine for me, as I use Apple CarPlay 100% of the time. I've noted lately that I get the error message "Apple Maps is having trouble connecting to your vehicle. Battery percentage may not be accurate." I swear it worked for several months after cancelling Connect Services, but now it's not. I disconnected CarPlay and reestablished the connection and it worked again, but only for a short while.
Who else is in my situation: CarPlay user without Porsche Connect Services? Is your experience the same?
Thanks!
