We were blessed with the weather, getting what I think was the last weekend of summer.

It felt like all the 911's in the world had converged at our hotel in Andermatt for the last weekend of sun.

But please don't jinx it for us : it looks like this Sunday and Monday are going to be sunny. With the recent nightly snow, this could give great picture occasions.
Prognostics for the following weekend are good too. Hopefully there's still some good times ahead.

Oh that's good. It certainly felt like it was turning on our way back through Germany. Even got our first use of the fog light!

Lots of closures, the passes that are open look to be icy.

On the webcams, it seems the roads have already been cleared :
Grimsel pass webcam, Furkapass east side webcam.

EDIT - Furka, Grimsel, Susten and a few others are still closed according to Alpen-Paesse.

Last weekend, everything reopened (Furka Grimsel and Susten requiring winter equipment).
Then everything fully reopened a few days ago.
Lots of camping cars around Furka and Grimsel this morning; fortunately I was there before they woke up: empty roads.
