My man, I hope you get your wish and get more Tesla supercharging options opened up around you. If they don't I am not sure Tesla is prepared for the internet fury that @daveo4EV can unleash!
And that, kids, is the definition of karma. Say bad things about Electrify America on the internet, then all that happens. Maybe Electrify America is as sensitive as Elon Musk and is purposely retaliating against you for saying mean things about them on the internet.
I am kidding. Jokes...
Luckily we have @daveo4EV to remind remind us daily that the Electrify America network is garbage and has never worked for anyone ever.
It is a wonder how @whitex drove his new Taycan across the entire continental US when EVERY single Electrify America location does not work?! Or how a...
Some people like Kyle, and some don't. I am cool with his new vehicle reviews, but the opinion content is fodder for light weights. The seemingly Red Bull amped video his dad posted the other night while charging a CCS vehicle at a NY Tesla supercharger was vomit inducing. Once again, my...
They will include at least 3,500 new and existing 250 kW Superchargers along highway corridors to expand freedom of travel for all EVs, and Level 2 Destination Charging at locations like hotels and restaurants in urban and rural locations.
The release is vague on the valuable part of the Tesla...
Tesla is not always the best when it comes to releasing details, nor keeping to timelines, so who knows what their ultimate designs are for their charging network? 100% legacy site conversion? Partial conversion? I am sure someone will eventually put in a FOIA request to see what Tesla...
I totally agree with you, which is why I said the one of the things that opening the Tesla network does is potentially add to charging options in certain parts of the country. Areas south of I-10 will be open to you if Tesla does in fact modify their chargers in that part of the country.
I have no issues with Tesla, nor its employee base. I previously owned two different Model S' and two different Model X's. Elon Musk is a totally different subject.
Since 2020, I have done over 75k miles in three different Taycans, an Audi e-tron, and an F-150 Lightning. Never been...
Evidently, you need more context on Dave, and his kid, Kyle. 100% Tesla kool aid drinkers. That is the type of people I try to avoid.
He had to take that vehicle to charge since he could not drive his Model S there and make that video. I could care less if he was charging a Genesis, a VW...
And it is because of people like that dude why I will avoid a Tesla supercharger unless it is a matter of being stranded. It is almost embarrassing to see a 60 year old guy acting like that just for a Youtube video.
I find it funny that people bag on the current US CCS charging environment...
Great write up, and congrats on the new car!!!!
Glad to see others take sucessful epic road trips and have no issues charging along the way. You also made it through Colorado in some pretty tough weather conditions, which is more than I can say even though I live here. I usually head south...
Opening Tesla superchargers is not a big deal in the Rocky Mountain west since we have very good CCS charger coverage, except for a couple of locations, but those should be filled by the end of the year.
I just want to see the footage of people going at each other at a Tesla supercharger for...

Gotcha. I am hoping the existing bolt set you provided with the 1up racks will fit on this rack. I guess I will wait to hear from you, go to RackAttack when they have them in stock.
thanks again!
@bsclywilly have you checked out the Kuat rack in person yet to see if we can get it to fit on the bars? From the site it looks super solid. I look the look as well.
This was a one day drive from Denver to Idaho Falls with the rack and a large electric mt. bike on the rear in the beginning of August. There is an impact, but if you are on major highways in the western half if the US it is not a big deal since there are EA chargers every 125 to 150 miles apart.
I just finished a round trip Denver to Houston run in my Ford F-150 lighting. I charged multiple times at the Electrify America chargers in Denton, Ennis, and Huntsville, and had no issues. Only the Ennis location has the new BTC chargers installed and they were flawless. Since Denton is...
Tesla Supercharging will always be a last resort, back up charging option for me. I did a Scottdale run from Denver in my Cross Turismo last month, and am in the middle of a road trip to Houston in my Ford F-150 Lightning right now and have not encountered a single issue or delay at any of...
Got the car back from the Porsche service team today since the vehicle was not communicating properly and I could not see active status on the app.
FYI below on what the Porsche guys identified and fixed. Turns out it was a navigation database error. They were able to update the nav and that...
