  1. Part 3: The Quest for the Perfect Tune

I believe it does affect it. Not by a whole bunch but by a small enough amount. My 60-130 times fluctuate from 4.8-5.2, depending on traction (I am always on the ragged edge due to being a RWD). Electric doesn't spin much since it is easily mitigated by much more effective traction/torque...
  2. Turbo S Wheel Update

Not a fan of the wheel design at all, kinda loud and too much IMO. However, the color choice is beautiful, especially paired with that green!!! My next Taycan will have the Mission E wheels with the white in Neodyme (or something close), keeping the black parts. Color will be Pale Blue metallic
  3. Part 3: The Quest for the Perfect Tune

I know post tune you will have a HUGE improvement 60-130mph or 100-200kmph due to Porsche limiting power outside of launch control. Any increase in actual power on the Turbo S while IN launch control mode?
  4. Sold my ‘24 Turbo S - be on the lookout

Your vehicular ADHD is far far worse than mine :CWL:
  5. Sold my ‘24 Turbo S - be on the lookout

I never knew how much I needed a baby blue Porsche until I saw this picture :involve:
  6. Sold my ‘24 Turbo S - be on the lookout

Yes this car is definitely ridiculous, beautiful color combination!!! Congrats again!
  7. 2025 Turbo S or Turbo GT hunt

I have had soft-close doors on a few vehicles in the past. Never thought I needed or even wanted them until I didn't have them anymore :CWL: :CWL: It feels like I lost something luxurious after having had, then lost the option (neither my Taycan or ZR1 has it, my previous M8, E63s and M5 had...
  8. Norway is the world leader in the take up of electric cars, what can others learn?

Charging infrastructure??? Of all the reasons to buy an EV in the States, the lack of a reliable charging infrastructure like the Supercharger has been the main reason many on-the-line folks I know shy away from EVs. Hell I cannot convince my wife to drive anything outside of a Tesla even...
  9. GM & ChargePoint Team Up To Install 500 Next Chargers By End of 2025

I hope this one pans out. The future dominant force in EVs is not cars with range or build quality. It will be the easiest access to level 3 charging on the road. This has always been and will always be the determining force. The buyers ready to change their driving habits, charge at home only...
  10. Can we have some more battery threads please 😁

    Battery Day once a week???
  11. Taycan Turbo vs. Taycan 4S

Speed has a larger influence on range than acceleration etc etc is what I have come to see in my Taycan
  12. Tesla Converts? What has your experience been with your Taycan?

Better software capabilities and leave the body panels alone. While it does not look like much has changed I agree with @Vim Schrotnock here that a lot of body panels were changed, but changed to look like the same car (typical Porsche redesigns)
  13. Redshift ECU Upgrade on my 2024 Taycan GTS -- Dragy Performance Results

It's actually not that surprising. The Turbo and Turbo S feel slower than a model 3 or model Y Tesla on the roads (unless Launch Control is activated in the Taycans)
  14. Finally got some drag times (Draggy) for my Taycan Turbo S

Updated the second post with some.new times. Updated times to come with new tires soon
  15. Porsche Taycan Aftermarket Wheel

Beautiful!!! But that thing will be hell of a nightmare to fix curb rashes!!! That is something that keeps me up at night on my mission E wheels lol. These seem worse/harder
  16. Help me decide. Family Matters: M5 Touring vs CT Turbo vs RS6 Avant

I will not recommend the M5 touring with space being the concern. The M5 front seats (F10 and F90 generations) have made it to where the rear seats feel very crowded. They are rather bulky (but oh so comfortable!!) and affect the knee and.legroom for the rear passengers quite a bit. My E63 (W212...
  17. Help me decide. Family Matters: M5 Touring vs CT Turbo vs RS6 Avant

I think your post applies to OP in 2-4 years. But he is looking at now. I feel for OP cos he is absolutely correct as in the Taycan not having enough legroom in the back for the front seats to remain in a comfortable position especially when dealing with rear facing child seats.
  18. 2022 Taycan turbo value?

I'll say $90-$100k for a turbo. The turbo S' with under 20k miles (2021-2022) are going for $100-$110k with original MSRP of $220k
  19. Turbo GT delivery begins when?

It seems you can only order with black interiors on the Turbo GT??? If So I guess I will never own one
  20. Lotus Emeya the new "Hyper-GT"

So as fast as a J1 Taycan turbo S with launch control (750 HP)
