What was your trap speed with 95% SOC pre tune?
About your post tune times......prepare to be disappointed if you're looking for faster.
I still feel like the tune is worth it for giving me power all the time, however, due to traction limitations after the tune, it's hard to extract more...
My 60-130 times without launch control was in the very low 9s mostly (I did get a couple of very high 8s with SOC near 96%).
I would expect with your car to be in the mid to high 8s since the batteries are being pushed harder without launch control.
I believe your newer batteries are being...
My fault for not reading through this well. I bought my own adapter and tried two superchargers, plug and charge active on my car..... No dice!
Returning the adapter and stick to EA and others
I had the pleasure of meeting @Mr.Smith last weekend and driving his car. Damn, this mod completely transformed his car! Plus he lowered his car 10mm and is running Michelin Pilot 4s' I am ordering them for my car ASAP.
His Etron RS feels smaller and much better composed in turns post...
Lol, my pedigreed CPO Porsches from two different Porsche dealers 300 miles apart were severely lacking as a pedigree!
Missing trim pieces, forgotten parts of service, etc etc
Yes, they fixed all the issues before I took delivery of the cars (they would have even if those cars were not CPO'ed)...
I believe his point is the CPO is just another type of warranty. CPO will not cover any more or less than Fidelity for example. When my new car bumper-to-bumper expired, CPO coverage took over and it covered less than the bumper-to-bumper in every brand/marque I have owned, nothing new here
I am not an electrical engineer either but I stayed at the Holiday Inn.
In my opinion, the 600Amp front invertor should allow the turbo S to hold power for a longer period of time than the Turbo/GTS/4S/Rs-Etron. But that is not happening due to battery limitations.
I wonder what would happen if...
Another thing is wheel spin. The tires now howl loudly through 40-50mph since the tune.
Does not feel like it's really spinning (probably cos the ecu is stopping it), but it's the loudest I've heard these tires ever since buying the car.
Prior to the tune, the was barely a squeak when...
Something else I forgot to mention. After the tune I noticed much higher battery usages that was slowly getting better but definitely noticeable. I was using a ton more kw going to and from work as well as to the airport. When I tried to make a draggy run the first time post tune after charging...
I am just noticing how consistent the times are LOL. I have a third run which is almost identical as well. 10.38 at 131 plus mile an hour
These are all not prepped runs. Tire pressure is on my normal driving of 44/45 PSI
I have not been able to get clear roads to make runs (my usual spot is only good on weekends since it's completely out of my way on weekdays, and I have been traveling a lot on the weekends).
Preliminary unprepped runs show no changes post-tune. However, I have not had a run with time to get a...
Stock ASG, Launch Control does affect 60-130. You only get full power with launch control. Without it, you get reduced power (750 vs 616 on turbo S for example)
I concur with this!!
In my testing, launch control was significantly faster, more than a second, from 60-130mph than just flooring it...
Man I guess Porsche started testing the battery limits being pushed on the 2024s before the 2025s rolled out. You are definitely making more power than me and most on here. Also, you hold that power at a much lower state of charge than any electric vehicle I have ever tested.
@Mr.Smith , You do have a point. What year is your car Lefty?
I remember reading about how the Tesla Plaid loses power by the time it hits 10K miles. But being that most owners do not drag test their cars and it is stupid fast, to begin with, most people will not notice the loss of power.
