  1. Finally got some drag times (Draggy) for my Taycan Turbo S

To answer this part of your post, your time (10.5@129) is faster (trapspeeds ) than my stock car under similar conditions. My soc for the faster runs were all 90% and higher. Try that too, charge up to 100% before you go do runs. Once the battery drops down to 88% and lower, my trap speeds...
  2. Finally got some drag times (Draggy) for my Taycan Turbo S

My car is a 2021 TS. I've had it for about 2 to 3 months and only had invalid runs on draggy due to something in the glass on this car that blocks satellite locks from draggy it seems. I will post pics of the mounts later today. Another suggestion is to not let your car connect to your phone...
  3. Finally got some drag times (Draggy) for my Taycan Turbo S

Better grip off the line for the 0 to 60mph. Lowered my tire pressure to 36psi from mid 40s. Also drove around in the 100 plus degrees Texas heat to warm up the tires before launching. For the quarter mile, if you look at the old draggy I posted (attached here), I braked at the very end due to...
  4. Finally got some drag times (Draggy) for my Taycan Turbo S

My 60-130 is in the graphs above. 7.42-7.55 seconds between the 4 runs I'm attaching my four 0-60 runs here. The last run posted was a 2.53 second run but was invalid due to slope (same spot as the three posted here but oh well)
  5. Finally got some drag times (Draggy) for my Taycan Turbo S

Here are some post tuned times, it's seriously consistent even with traction control all the way off. From 98% down to 88% SOC I did my best 0-60mph with traction control off post tune but didn't get any faster on the top end. Waiting to install new tires and try again. You will...
  6. Finally got some drag times (Draggy) for my Taycan Turbo S

I am seriously thinking of getting the @redshift-performance Redshift tune for my turbo S Taycan and wanted some preliminary times. Had a real hard time getting my Draggy to get good satellite locks but I used the rear windshield and finally got it to work. So here are my pre tuned times...
  7. Taycan Turbo S facelift 0-100km & 1/4mile

Yes huge improvements! 0-60 is more an indication of traction management than outright performance. And 0.2 second improvement from 2.6 seconds is quite a huge improvement. Other metrics are much much improved also. Now price was not a.factor in the improvements. And you cannot compare a new...
  8. Which of the Taycan cars do you favor and would buy?

See how much trouble being bored can be for you??
  9. Which of the Taycan cars do you favor and would buy?

Lol so the technicality is the S. It's a turbo GT (a step above the turbo S) https://www.porsche.com/international/models/taycan/taycan-models/taycan-turbo-gt/
  10. Taycan Turbo S facelift 0-100km & 1/4mile

Plaid will much faster than the Turbo S including the GT model still. The 4S can outrun the regular turbo if he/she gets a better launch but does not mean under same conditions the Turbo model isn't faster. Plaid is a low 9 second damn near 150mph trap speed car all without loosing much power...
  11. Which of the Taycan cars do you favor and would buy?

Turbo GT without the weissach package
  12. Taycan Turbo S facelift 0-100km & 1/4mile

Definitely huge improvements. But I did notice the facelift on the video still has the teardrop look on the headlights. Thought they did away with that....have to find some pics in the wild
  13. Taycan GTS Dragy results in non-optimal conditions (3.4 to 3.5 seconds)

I will screenshot some more times in a bit. Unfortunately my draggy has been going through weeks of invalid times due to low satellite signal. I bought a Racebox and I run them both sides by side. Racebox is usually 0.04 slower in a quarter mile, but half a mile per hour faster than draggy so I...
  14. Taycan GTS Dragy results in non-optimal conditions (3.4 to 3.5 seconds)

I have been testing my Turbo S (0-60mph) and found that I am within a tenth of a second between 65-100% state of charge. The difference comes in after that. 4 mph trapspeed loss (in the quarter mile) between 65% SOC through to above 90% SOC (around 2mph loss in the low 80% SOC)
  15. 0-100km Transaction Control on vs. Off

Nice times. Btw the SOC between 80% and above 90% does make a difference. But you only see the difference at higher speeds. I was able to run a 2.76sec 0-60mph with around 68% SOC(and with a passenger), but I lost 3mph on my trap speeds in the quarter mile
  16. That was close...

You should, she will find your manliness at pushing the boundaries so exciting and sexy......or she will look at you like you are a dumbass??
