I picked up the cover, noticed that it is unusually thin but didn't give it much thought beyond this. After opening up the cover, I realized that it's a really thin cover and it's not a soft inner material on this outdoor cover. It feels like a low quality vinyl bbq cover but silver with our...
I'm looking for a dealership recommendation for service near Brooklyn. Just picked up my car over the weekend, but there are some minor things that needs to be fixed/replaced. The dealership I purchased from is 200 miles from me and I'd like to service it closer to home.
Want to report that I picked up my 4S CT and it did not come with the colored icons in the PCM. Build started on 2/10, ended on 2/25. No random alarm going off. Car has been operating nominally so far. I am quite surprised by how much noise the car makes on start up, sounds like pumps running...
On the face of it, I'd be terribly upset about this. I have a suspicion the true uproar will come when the compensation numbers come out. "We'll compensate you by giving you colored icons in your PCM!" ????
In my experience of getting cars repaired, repairs can be really close to factory, but there is always the thought that someone else has violated my car. I am always prepared for a tussle with the body shop because I'm OCD about the paint and fitment. Perhaps consult with @jenzfc shop. They...
I'm glad to see I'm not the only nut job on here. I've got 100ft of tracwrap to wrap my car for it's 250 mile journey home. Picking it up this Saturday and can't wait to see who stares me down in the dealer's lot.
For those shopping, remember, not all MSRP is created equal. There's the doc fees, that fee, this fee, etc. Don't forget to get your purchase contracts well itemized.
Glad to see that you love the work done. Every time I've had to get paint work done, it fills me with so much anxiety because it's always been a back and forth (why is there so much peel here, fix this fish eye here, etc).
Suncoast sku: SKU9J1CTCOVER, selling for $619.95, comes in blue or beige. They've had the indoor cover for a while, but the outdoor cover has been available only in the past few months.
Saw another update on TYD, it's at the dealer. This is for a CT 4S, build that started on 2/10, finished on 2/25. Not sure if there are any other differentiating factors in which cars got held vs. others that got released.
Is that frozen berry?! I've only seen one in person and it's really nice.
For others who are wondering about CTs being released, I've got an updated TYD which says it's enroute. It only needs to go about 40 miles, port -> dealer.
I got word that my CT is released for transport from Baltimore. SA advises that part of the PDI is a battery depletion and charging test. I'm curious what this is, anybody got any insights?
I've PPF ready for an install and I've also got PPF for the pano roof just in case there is flying debris. I've been unlucky to have marks on my roof of my sedans, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to add the PPF on top. So, why not add the PPF to glass (not front windshield and side & rear windows)
