It is fairly common to use this type of product as part of the preparation to do ceramic coating on cars. It will not harm the paint provided you follow directions (do one section at a time, don't apply it in sunlight, etc.). I used GYEON Q2M Iron without any problems on my Taycan. The one I...
My OEM Mamba Green key from Suncoast is about a year old. Not a single scratch. It has a ton of metallic flake just like the paint on the car. The parking valets always know which car belongs to the key. A bit of an indulgence but worth it.
@Neighs - if your wife hasn't set up a separate profile through the PCM she will need to do so via her own Porsche ID (there are other threads on the forum regarding setting up Porsche IDs for additional users). Apparently each key is associated with each individual profile.
This is not unique to Porsche. I don't have the problem with the Taycan because I didn't give my wife the second key to the Taycan :giggle: However in her Maserati there are many times when we will both be in the car with the keys. She is 5 ft 1 in so the seat sometimes compress like an...
The center cap will fit regardless of orientation, but for those of you who are new to Porsche, the tradition is to point the bottom of the crest towards the tire valve.

I agree. I have not had any issues with the sun in my eyes from the pano roof. In all of my other cars with glass roofs, I always pull the shade closed because I cannot stand the light hitting my eyes. It not the case with the Taycan. The pano roof makes the cabin much more airy and creates a...
Based on what you and @rquinton posted, it appears that Porsche changed the design. The old spacers were a bit odd so I'm glad to hear the markers were modified. As long as you pre-thread the screw (and back it out) in the clear marker before installing it, the new part tightens down fairly well...
While I don't have an answer for a second fuse on the driver's side (US), look at post #19 from @Lowpue for a dashcam install using a fuse on the passenger side.
With regard to the original question I have had no problems in the hot Atlanta summer with the pano roof.
Here is a link to a lengthy thread that discusses window tint. To control heat, the infrared rejection properties of the window film are more important than the darkness of the tint...
@TaycanNJ - it sounds like it was worth the wait. What video sources are you now able to view on the screens? I had the MMB CarPlay AI box which worked reasonably well for about 2 weeks and then it didn't so I returned it (it started to think it was a Playstation).
FYI, the cover in the link is for the old style Porsche fob. It will not fit the newer style fobs. You can tell by the protruding metal tab on the old style fobs.
