Hi all - my car is scheduled to arrive at the San Diego port next Friday. It’s only gotta come up to LA from there. Also I understand there are no open items on the car. Anyone have recent experience about how long San Diego unloading and port processing has taken them? Much appreciated!

The point is that there are limited funds to spend so they are trying to spend them where they are most effective … at the low end. If you gave me additional tax incentives I would just add more options to my car - let’s be honest you would too because you have the money.

I got the email that mine finished production yesterday but YTD says it’s in the middle of the Atlantic on a boat. I think that finished production email is sent in batches.

First, congratulations on your car, it looks amazing! Can I ask you why your car was held up in San Diego (mine will be there in 20 days). Also, did scheduling PEC LA push your delivery date back and if so by how much? Very much appreciated!

4 days for my CT4

I have the same issue where mine delivers to San Diego but says it will sit there for 30 days before getting to my dealer which is like 100 miles away. Also no open campaigns. Think TYD is messed up.

I have rear wheel steering and it took only 4 days to complete the car so don’t think it’s that. maybe sport sound or the rims

TYD will tell you a few days before the ship arrives at port. I didn’t find out sooner than that

Not sure what is typical but for my ship it was in port barely 2 days. Doesn’t take that long.

Question is it the stop sale will affect us. No idea how long it takes them to reprogram once they get off the boat.

Major update -- my Taycan CT is on the vessel Garnet Leader, and my expected date of delivery has moved up from December 3rd to November 12th! I hope this isn't some weird German prank ...

Update: production started 10/4 and as of 10/8 production already complete and on its way to Emden port. No idea if anything is missing.

Again super helpful, I guess I'll stick w/50 amp + NEMA 14-50/6-50 plug (assume either plug works with porsche / tesla charger that come with the car). Thank you again.
