Yes looks like any Taycan’s that are arriving into the UK are via Grimsby for the northern dealers. Anything going via Sheerness isn’t moving.

Doesn’t look like there were any Taycan’s on the Malacca based on my conversation with the dealer just now.

If that’s true it will be a long line wait. 100 cars is almost nothing for ships that take around 4000.

It’s docked earlier this morning - at the Audi / Porsche dock rather than VW. Has done the same for the last trip also, so looks like they are clearing the backlog of Audi / Porsche before VW. And yes I know far more than I want to about Emden dock - a colossal shambles on behalf of the VW group.

Looks highly likely they will temporarily reduce VAT to 17% or 15% across the board from early July to boost sales. Likely won’t get our cars before then even if they are on the next boat so could be a silver lining after all...

Now on its way back to Emden. Quick turnaround and due there at 9am tomorrow. Based on that it should manage two trips next week depending on how long it docks in Emden.

Apparently two ships into Sheerness next week according to my dealer. Don’t think it’s actually two ships - rather the same one that will be there probably on Wednesday and again Sunday.
