For my J1.1 i bought a seatbelt dummy to keep plugged in the passenger buckle. Used to plug in the actual seatbelt going behind the passenger-seat, but this way it's cleaner :)
It just looks awesome/futuristic in the dark, it doesn't distract me as a driver at all
With the privacy screen, I...
Indeed, the system is there to protect them ... not us.
Dealer managed to make a dent/mark of something heavy that had been pressing down in the leather dashboard of our taycan while it was in to have the glass roof replaced, they sure didn't point it out and figured we wouldn't notice until it...
For day to day driving, I certainly prefer the taycan's setup for the responsiveness. You don't want to do stop-and-go traffic in a car that always wants to go go go.
There's a (small) difference between normal and sport, but feel it still could have been better.
Maybe some slider where you can...
IX3 looks nice (with the right config), and range is great.
One thing that put me off is the tiny rear indicators, I just don't feel safe with those. Same reason why I once passed on the model 3 (when they had silly small indicators) ... but that might just be me LOL
I have the first gen turbo, and I also feel the throttle response isn't what it could be, even in sport.
I once drove a model 3 performance, and I instantly noticed that car was more responsive to the throttle input.
Same happened to me.
I used to have the key in my laptop-bag ... when I get off work I put my bag on the rear seat, and then I get in the car ... one time I must have hit the sensor to lock the car and the car locked, and stayed locked.
I don't have porsche connect active, so no way for me to...
Did that yellow fuse come out of the taycan?
The 3 bottom rows of the fuse box near the pedals are all standard fuses
usually when people add stuff, it's done there
That yellow fuse looks like a maxi compact ... porsche uses the standard ATO sized ones
the add-a-fuse with the orange 5 fuse in the pic looks correct.
Thanks for posting, going to watch it later tonight ... I somehow actually enjoyed the first part, brooooo
Normally I give all those youtube "open mouth" thumbs the "don't recommend this channel" treatment, but I'll have to make an exception for this one.
Our taycan CT also had it's glass roof replaced ... twice.
There was a crack, according to the dealer it has something to do with the roofrail-attachmentpoints putting too much stress on the glass.
Then when it was replaced, it instantly cracked again as they went over a bump while exiting the...
That's an amazingly good outcome for you.
Different country, different laws I guess. Here you have people with a taycan that spends more time at the dealer than on their own driveway, while losing close to 50% in 2 years, and they are just stuck with their car.
Only having to drop 10% for...

200 quid (you probably can find even cheaper / used), I bet if you drive your taycan on a little ramp to get some more clearance you can replace that thing yourself
Or every...
I can imagine how those meetings went.
Super expensive designer who throws around nonsense like "pushing the boundaries", "outside the box", "revolutionary and ground breaking design language" etc etc
Senior management just approving to avoid being the "old guy who doesn't get with the times"...
