I think I found it
so all the "chassis" things, you can still have by selecting sport plus as chassis setting, even without sport chrono.
so basically you miss out on responsiveness, extra cooling, rear spoiler going higher and different eSound (or maybe just a little bit louder).
Without sport chrono there's no real sport plus as drive mode, only sport ... and you can indeed select "sport plus" as chassis-setting (as if sport isn't firm enough LOL)
No clue what else would be different between sport and sport plus ... probably also has sport sound on by default in that...
Usually when I can't decide between two wheel options, I take one as dedicated winter setup and the other for the rest of the year.
In your case with all-seasons that's not really applicable.
I'd order the car with the spyders (IMHO a GTS needs those in satin black), and then keep your eyes...
Ha, I remember from when I used PIWIS on my car I also got this exact error for the rear passenger door. (Has been about a year since I last used it)
I think you can do the "disable control unit" to make it continue/disregard that module
It will be able to run it ... the question is, are you willing to work on a tiny 5.5" screen?
For that price you can almost get the equivalent entry-level HP/Acer 15" laptop with win 11, that will have some value if you plan to sell it on.
Keyless has not been trouble-free, many people had...
clipping it back in should be possible without taking the bumper off, hard to tell

quoting £750 for these kind of jobs is one of the reasons why my next car wont be a porsche

I would have thought if you do buy the FOD with a one-time payment, it would be assigned to the VIN, so the next owner would still have it (just like every other option you paid for from the factory).
With my e-tron there were FOD's that all had a 30 day free trial (or was it €1, not sure...
It seems like you also need to buy the FOD tweaker module at €100/piece or €400 for unlimited.
I don't feel confident enough to take that on, with my luck I'll just end up bricking the car :)
Log into the porsche connect store and select your car, if it shows you can do the FOD for comfort access / keyless entry, then your car should have the hardware but didn't spec it from the factory.
I have a MY2020, don't have keyless entry but it shows the option as a one time payment through...
If it's only for electric sport sound, a work-around would be to assign the diamond icon (shortcut) on your instrument-cluster to enable/disable sport sound.
Be careful with the piwis micro-usb connection, mine separated from the main-board fairly quick.
Don't use that thing in WIFI mode, if it loses connection while it's writing data to your car, you're screwed.
If I were to buy one again, I'd tape the usb cable to the piwis so it can't put strain...
Feels like hijacking this thread a bit, but anyway
Had some gloss black wrap scraps laying around, changed my body color mission e's to all black.
Think i'll switch back to white in a couple weeks.
Those mission-e's in all black look very nice.
Black rims are hard to capture on picture/video, always look even better in real life.
I have them in body color (white), your vid makes me want to try and wrap them in gloss black.
Good:
let's in a lot of light
rear passengers will enjoy it
the black roof is a nice contrast on most bodycolors
Bad:
expensive to fix
adds weight where you don't want it (near the top), on a heavy EV maybe negligible.
I don't have a panoramic roof and don't miss it, in fact I like the 2 humps...
Maybe its different in the UK, but here you can just buy a random taycan, have porsche do their 111 check (that will cost you a couple hundred), and if everything is OK, you can add porsche approved warranty to that car ... then just renew before it expires or you'll have to do the 111 check again.
People will say you don't need to do any of that, that the car will take care of it by itself ... and if it doesn't, there is an issue with your 12v.
A month ago my 12v was drained after sitting for 2 weeks, and prior to those 2 weeks I only used the car for super short trips twice a week for...
