Porsche provided an updated Taycan TSB for tires and recommended pressures in May.
See attached. I have not checked to see if these pressures match the PCM "deviations" display.
Everything went smooth WNJ8 uPdate on MY2020 - total time 2.5 days but that included 4 Tires, alignment, ANA5 wire harness recall and 2 year service. Interesting I did not lose the Homelink and stored Smartlift locations.
Seems like a great update but I can't get wireless AA to connect (works...
MY20 with passenger screen and software version 3397, no recall.
I've also never had the problem described in the recall.
I'm going in for tires and ANA5 (wire harness) in a few weeks.
I guess I'll find out then.
Glad you shared this. I've been monitoring the tread wear on my Pirelli's. Down to about 4/32" fronts and 6/32" rears at 9,000 miles. But upon closer inspection the front tires are wearing on the inside shoulder as well.
Interstate rest stops are regulated by the Feds and they prohibited commercialization of rest areas when they built the interstate system. Toll roads and state turnpikes are different.
The new $5B EV Charger Bill does nothing to change that...
This is exactly what I'm using. The PMCC works fine at 24 amps.
Byers Porsche was able to order PN 7PP971678EA (Porsche 6-30 cable) - should be here in 6-8 weeks
These are starting to pop up.
Bert Smith Porsche just moved into a new facility last month (now Porsche Clearwater). Two new DCFC installed and several L2 destination type chargers. The GM did have to start the charging session. Hopefully there will be another way to activate these after hours.
I have a spare 30 amp (6-30 outlet) in the garage I use for a car lift. Trying to share that outlet with the PMCC - thus the 6-30 cable request. Yes the PMCC is dialed down to 24 amps. This will be a back-up or secondary EVSE for now. I just installed a Clipper Creek 50 amp on my dedicated EVSE...
Does anyone happen to know the Porsche PN for the PMCC supply cable with NEMA 6-30 plug?
I ordered 7PP.971.678.T thinking it was correct but the pins at the PMCC end of the cable are not correct.
Thanks
Do you have an EA account?
When I setup the Porsche Charging NA app a few years ago - I also created an EA account.
Not sure if that is required with Plug & Charge but may be worth a try.
The dealer replaced the comm. (LTE) module after similar issues a few months ago. Took about a week to get the part from Germany. Its been working fine since. Also the replacement module on my MY20 was a new part number and required a software update at the dealer.
I don't recall having to pair to Porsche Connect - however I am still using the "old" App.
Maybe someone who has successfully paired with the new My Porsche app can comment
