Sorry - RTFM. Close window with holding up. Let go. Hold up again for a few seconds. All good. Probably happened after I disconnected 12v to restore LTE connection...
Not sure when this started. Need to hold driver door window button all the way up/down. All other windows roll by themselves on a simple click. I read somewhere of initializing/resetting the windows - where might I do that?
May be I hear what you are saying. You THINK to have seen a flash but you have not actually received a FPN yet. I would not worry too much. The camera may well have been real and may well have targeted you but they will probably suppress the FPN because the infringement registered within seconds...
My car would not connect these last 5 days. 5 resets of the PCM (two-finger salute) had no effect. Found some time today to disconnect negative terminal from 12v battery - LTE came back immediately. Got a slew of errors, mostly inconsequential. Only weird one was problem with left charge port...
He.must have. ACC alone would never reduce the target speed automatically. The look ahead of PID ain't much use under the circumstances. However, I have never heard of anyone being flashed within seconds of the gantry changing the speed limit.
Fair enough. I wish I could have bought it, but my CT lacks the roof anchors. The net is probably useless with dogs but with the seats down and the rear full of rubbish, I feel better with the partition net. Given how it costs not $200, why would you not want the option?
If you are buying a Cross Turismo, order the luggage net. Costs nothing but if you want to use the car as a removal van, it protects the driver against flying loads. Fail to order it and the car won't feature roof anchors which means you can never fit a net.
Thanks again for all your replies
Thanks for the heads-up. If I ordered it from new, at that laughable price (relative to the car) I'd order the net too. Mind, we can turn this on its head - what is Porsche thinking NOT fitting those anchors as standard? (They could still sell the net...
Thanks for all your replies. Our family wagon ordinarily serves as a luxury sedan but on the odd occasion (with the rear seats down and a roof box on) also as a dumper truck or removal van (when one child or the other moves uni etc). My impression is that the Taycan net is more tedious to...
Yeah - found the net in the Configurator in Technology/Comfort&everyday usability. Dirt cheap option from new - makes me wonder whether it is possible to retrofit.
Oh wow. That thought had not occurred to me. Visited my local dealer today and they were stumped - they could not even find/had never seen this net. Thanks. Next stop, Porsche's configurator. I wonder whether it will list the net as an option...
Just a quick question to the community from a CT newbie. The manual for the car shows a (optional) vertical partition net that can be installed at two positions in the luggage area. I can see the bottom lashing points, as shown in the manual. I cannot see the roof anchor points. My CT has a...
Taycan newbie here. Am I missing a trick or is there nowhere across 3 large screens that the car will tell me the outside temperature? There isn't even a widget inside the "Information" screen of the 3rd tube. Can I add further "apps" to the car that will do that?
I saw the price for the original cover. Unreal. BEVs in general are quickly written off following accidents. I had thought you should find such covers reasonably readily on salvage yards/eBay. Unfortunately, I cannot offer up mine since I have no viable alternative...
Thanks. Saw them on eBay quite cheap but share your FWIW. I agree that the cassette is very heavy but I only use the car as load hauler once in a blue moon, so not really an issue. What is a daily issue is that I have now banged my head on that shelf on multiple occasions trying to put stuff...
Long-time 5Touring owner here who recently bought a Taycan CT. I am happy that the CT can be a replacement for a 5Touring but the crazy split parcel shelf over the loading area is vastly inferior to the simpler roller cassette the BMW comes with. Not least, also, because that cassette comes...
