I was just made aware of a 2022 CPO Taycan CT4 that my SA has...just under 3k miles, asking about $13k over MSRP (at least you get some value in the CPO). Nice spec, and it's not a bloated MSRP (also avoids the 2023 price increase, so it's more like $9k over with CPO). I can share more details...

I just spoke to 17 SoCal dealers for Taycan RWD...only two have allocations: one wants $15k, the other $20k. That's how bad things are for Taycans.... I think my SA's 2023 RWD being sold @ MSRP is still available, but I'd have to double check.

In that case, it seems fair...given the configurator says $2,750 Estimate Dealer Fee in addition to the $1,750 Destination Charge.

Quick Update on Allocations: I spoke to my SA yesterday about allocations...he said Macan/Cayenne/Panamera are mostly flowing through (easier to get, depending on trim), but 992 & Taycan are still very difficult. Taycan production must really be struggling. He received two RWD allocations...

I'm team pro him taking the GTS ST allocation...unless your dealer is very, very confident they'll get another allocation soon and can guarantee those options (which I'm sure they'd never put in writing or even verbally agree to)

My thoughts: I'd ask your SA to check and see if the VLL and Burmester delays are indefinite or end at a defined period. For example, sometimes PCNA says certain options are on "order stop from X Month-Z Month"...other times it'll just say "order stop from X Month" signifying an indefinite...

I believe it’d be $2.5-5k! Sometimes it depends on how loaded/unique the build is.

Sorry to hear your tags are taking so long! Some dealers take longer than others. Definitely check in with their Title Clerk. My SA is at a different dealer, and he’s usually able to get people tags within 4-5 weeks, but it varies per state.
