My Dad loved cars, but we didn't have much money.. ..
Ones I can remember were 3 Austin Maxi's (white, green and red.....he used to make us memorise the number plates in case we ever needed to tell the Police etc ?. SVM 848K was the green one).
And a Triumph Dolomite 1850HL (KTB 500P) He...
Never apologise for not understanding the Taycan charging planner.
Designed by the person who would count sheep by turning them upside down, counting the legs and dividing by 4.
I had the worst service I have had from any brand at the 3 different Porsche dealers I used during my Taycan ownership experience.
I eventually decided to get rid when I was given a 3 month wait for (more) faults on the car, with no courtesy car available.
I was sick to death of going back and...
Never watch any YT vids where they have a big bold clickbait headline and some moron with a shocked face......
? UTTER BOLLOCKS ‼‼
Too many (majority) of complete tools posting on there nowadays. Wish there was an alternative.
I also doubt the founding fathers were contemplating fully automatic assault rifles at that time of muskets or whatever in the late 1700s.
But each to their own.....
Plenty a US citizen could (quite rightly) criticise our countries laws.
I would also imagine (I am no lawyer) that it is now time for some legal action - in that the car is no longer fit for purpose and doesn't perform as per the contract made at point of sale.
I had one as a loaner too.
I couldn't believe how utterly cr@p it was. I couldn't stop laughing when you put your foot down. Nothing happened. ?
The 'performance' reminded me of a Ford Fiesta XR2 I drove in the 1980s.
To the OP......

Every opinion under the sun.

So none the wiser.
To sum up, narrowing it down to 2 main lines of thought.......
You should definately let him do it,

Comments section is always laughable......
Lots of angry old anti EV brigaders, spouting misinformation and all agreeing with each other.
Hoping that EVs will go away and their 2010 Mondeo diesel will remain the pinnacle of car ownership.
'And it doesn't have any of those fancy computers in it...
Easy question to flip......
Would you feel concerned if you knew all Taycans on the road were driven by 17 year old lads?
Would the roads be more or less safe than they are currently?
I've no kids, but thinking of me at age 17, I would say no to driving solo - unless I was in the car with them.
At least for a time.
It's not how sensible they are, it's the lack of experience, with that much power.
It takes a few years to learn to read the road and forecast hazards.
You have...
I think its just starting to change with more private buyers now seeming to be entering the market at the lower end.
I see quite a few pensioners proudly driving round in one of those new MG EVs (who would probably go nowhere near a Chinese brand ?).
The sort who may have driven a Honda Jazz...
I agree. @ct14garage from what i see, is single handedly providing the only real world insight into some of the workings of the Taycan in the whole world (given how tight lipped the dealer network obviously is).
I take my hat off to him, for all the pioneering work he is doing.
I find many of...
