It cleans the rubber and make it normal color again, and stay black for a while, but it will come back eventually. I googled it when it happened to my ex-Taycan, but I haven't experienced on J1.2 yet. If you're worry about the rubber get dry, apply rubber Seal Protectant after cleaning.
