Spoken with Porsche Marbella - waiting to see if the car will recovered back to the UK.
We are also mulling over driving home with AC charging only. Thankfully I spec'ed a 22kW charging option so with rebooking extra hotel stops this may be possible
At the moment it is charging @10kw using the hotel's free AC charging. I'll leave the car overnight and see if it clears.
If not I will head to the nearest dealer.
Anyone any experience of Porsche Marbella or Porsche Malaga?

The right hand charge port is being reported as open when it is not.
This means I cannot use the LHS port which is the CCS port in the UK. If I open it the car reports charging not possible.
The issue is I am 1,200 miles from home in Southern Spain. Without CCS charging getting home...
I am in the early stages of planning a trip to the Alps to drive the most famous Swiss mountain passes. Most of the vehicles will be GT3's & GT3RS'. While I am confident my Taycan Turbo will keep up I am less sure about charging it easily/quickly. Has anyone done the Swiss/Italian Alpine...
argh - I didn't realise it was that simple. I have been lost in a maze of German and Lativian VAG spares sites.
I will call them tomorrow.
I am building a nice collection of these adapters. It's like an adult game of collectables.
Hi All,
There are now three electric vehicles in our household but only one 7.5kW wall charger.
I have a cheap tariff overnight but it doesn't last that long. Annoyingly all three cars are empty.
It occurs to me that if I purchase
I can charge one of the cars at 230x16 = 3.6kW instead of...
Bugger - my heater has just failed. Feels like it just a matter of time. Interesting my Range Rover Sport PHEV had a similar issue with its high voltage heater. Maybe most heating elements are designed around 240v and not 400/800v
We popped into both Valencia and Le Mans OPCs. They were excellent - super friendly - both gave us coffee and ice cold water - maybe Barcelona is an outlier
This is good know - literally every time I step out of the car to plug it into a charger I get a call from Vodafone about 15 mins later. I will give this a test......
I have been unable to charge at number of chargers recently. The car reports a charging error and it seemed like the issue was with the car. It occurred to me that I had recently enabled "Plug & Charge". I have now disabled it and returned to EVSEs that previously didn't work, now all is good...
Hi All,
I have just got back to the UK from Spain. I had problems getting the Porsche RFID card to work with some Iberdrola EVSE's.
I have logged a support call with Porsche and they are asking for screen shots.
Annoyingly I didn't take any, probably due the fact it was 40'C and I was keen to...
Hi Pozuelo,
I have been driving around Spain for almost a couple of weeks now.
My tips
1) Endesa is appalling. Try to avoid if possible.
Make sure you have added a credit card to the Spanish version of the wallet.
Try to find an Endesa to test with before you need it. I needed to log a support...
I am cover all your bases person too and it has just paid off.
I have driven from the UK to Andalucia in southern Spain. I needed to use a Tesla charger in France and the hotel we are currently staying only has a three phase supply and we are miles from anywhere. The next hotel has 22kW too. ps...
I am planning a trip to Glasgow and thought I would break the journey in the Lake District.
Can anyone recommend a hotel that offers charging (paid or complimentary)?
Tom
yes me too - I have an order in for a system based on BYD batteries and Victron controllers/inverters.
I have also got permission from my DNO to bust through the export limit so am uprating my PV array to 10kW.
If you can't put your own panels up it is worth checking out...
Exactly - we have underfloor heating which can switched off for a good few hours before we notice it. I have the controller pause the heating between expensive hours without any perceptible change in temp
