In the UK.
It is caused by there being plenty of wind. It generally happens because there is ramp up time to get gas turbines on supply ready for the start of the day. It is better for them to sell a small amount of electricity at a loss overnight ready for selling a lot at a profit.
It can...
Electricity prices are negative tonight. Good time to charge the car to the max.
As luck would have it I just did 160 miles so the battery is only 3rd full :)
I just doubled checked and I can't see an option to show music. I must admit I thought it did but looks like it doesn't. @Torv - does it show it on yours? Maybe I a missing something. I have attached a couple of photo of the HUD setup.
Hi Dane - As Torv says it does - I am actually very pleased with the HUD. The main features I use a lot are the ACC/Distance control and the speedometer. One of the reasons I purchased it was due my concern about hugely inadvertently exceeding the speed limit and not noticing. The HUD + Waze...
Has anyone got any experience of using a Télépéage transponder through thermally insulated glass?
I have seen some comments that you have to hold it out of the window! In my Range Rover Sport there is a specific part of the windscreen that allows RF through.

I ordered at the start of June and heard yesterday from the OPC that it is ready for collection. My guess is that Porsche order their manufacturing by profitability of each vehicle. I think my dealer was more surprised than I was when a slot came through relatively quickly.
They wouldn't quote - too expensive ( > £100k ) - transferred to Direct Line Select who wouldn't quote because the car will be owned by my company with me being the RK :-(
My TT is now on a boat so I need to get some insurance sorted.
I have a reasonable quote from Admiral. Others have recommended Novo but their underwriter has withdrawn from the market.
Anyone got any other recommendations?
Hi All,
I have bought a car cover for my TT for use until I get a new garage built.
The instructions say the car shouldn't have it's mirrors folded when the cover is used.
Apart from leaving unlocked is there a way to disable the folding mirror feature?

For future reference there are two BP Pulse 150kW chargers in Lenham which is 5 mins drive from Maidstone Ionity chargers. A good back if Ionity is down.
We're off to Devon next week. I am taking my wife's i3s ( the TT hasn't arrived yet ) - I don't trust the govt to not say something else to cause another wave of panic. Bringing in the army will probably spook everyone again.
In any event people are sleeping in their cars overnight in my nearest...
You have waited hugely longer than I have. I wonder if Porsche are prioritising manufacturing via gross margin in £ terms. For example sports seats were a free option in the TT I ordered. I went for comfort seats though so this must represent a higher margin for Porsche so maybe they make those...
That's a good question - no - everything is word of mouth. It's odd to me too. This is my first Porsche but 4th EV. It's more like dealing with "honest Ron" around the back of the market than a global corporate ;-)
I placed an order in June. The dealer phoned last week with an explicit date at the end of October when my TT will leave the factory. It should be with me by mid November.
Same thing happened to me. I ordered in early June., then suddenly a mad scramble to finalise the spec. It reminded me of the time I was having a massage in an airport lounge and heard my name over the tannoy. The flight which was supposedly very late had made up time. An embarrassing walk of...
update - The dealer called yesterday. I have a manufacturing slot in October. The order locks in a week. No more endless tweaking of the configurator anymore...
