Say what now? I've never heard anything about smaller dents in the shield under the car possibly leading to any issues with the battery packs — shouldn't the shield be able to protect the battery properly even with such a small dent?

To me the J1 looks better with the more "indented" front lights -- on the J1.2 the lights are flush with the bumper which to me is a much more conventional (i.e. boring :–) design solution. In most cases I think a facelift makes the older model look dated, but both when it comes to the Taycan...
