  1. Finally acquired! Taycan GTS ST (huge MSRP)

Shouldn't a diagnostic analysis of the batteries be able to ascertain whether any battery cells were actually impacted (damaged) or not in conjunction with such a dent event? I recently did a battery diagnosis on my 2023 Taycan GTS Sport Turismo via Aviloo (out of curiosity, i.e...
  2. Finally acquired! Taycan GTS ST (huge MSRP)

Thanks for the link! I read the first couple of pages and was surprised to learn that such a small dent in the shield could possibly damage the batteries — I would have thought Porsche made the construction such that there is a margin between the shield and the batteries so that smaller damages...
  3. Finally acquired! Taycan GTS ST (huge MSRP)

Say what now? I've never heard anything about smaller dents in the shield under the car possibly leading to any issues with the battery packs — shouldn't the shield be able to protect the battery properly even with such a small dent?
  4. Finally acquired! Taycan GTS ST (huge MSRP)

Similar pricing situation here in Sweden -- my 2023 GTS Sport Turismo listed for ~$184K new; after 1 owner/18 months/13,6K miles, I bought it via a Porsche Center with 18 months remaining warranty/free service/subsidized insurance for ~116K (~68K down). My current plan is to keep it for another...
  5. Powder coated my black RS Spyders wheels to bronze

Will do. I've just sent them a fitness inquiry regarding my specific vehicle and rim model (I want their written confirmation that it will fit before I order).
  6. Powder coated my black RS Spyders wheels to bronze

Me neither, but I noticed on their page that you can order them without their logo (so that you can either leave them unbranded or find a heat resisistant Porsche logo to put on :–).
  7. Powder coated my black RS Spyders wheels to bronze

Thanks for the calliper cover tip, I will absolutely look into that.
  8. Powder coated my black RS Spyders wheels to bronze

I haven't taken many photos yet, but here's another I took at the same occasion where you can see the rims more clearly (I have since installed rim center caps as well, and I went with matching Satin Platinum with monochrome crest). I haven't heard about calliper covers before (and no paint...
  9. Powder coated my black RS Spyders wheels to bronze

Myself I have had the Satin Black RS Spyder rims on my GTS Sport Turismo repainted in Satin Platinum (I've also replaced the coloured Porsche badge with the new Turbonite badge; my only remaining issue with the exterior are the red brake callipers, which I would really like to replace with black...
  10. J1 vs. J1.2 TTS Side by Side Pics (2025 Taycan Turbo vs. 2020)

To me the J1 looks better with the more "indented" front lights -- on the J1.2 the lights are flush with the bumper which to me is a much more conventional (i.e. boring :–) design solution. In most cases I think a facelift makes the older model look dated, but both when it comes to the Taycan...
  11. Unexpected issue with H&R spacer kit 7 mm all-around

Thanks to everyone who's commented. I was at the tyre shop today, and the guys there made the following observations: 1) I have the Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres on the car, and Goodyear tyres are generally quite a bit wider than Pirelli tyres (even when the formal width spec is identical), and they...
  12. Unexpected issue with H&R spacer kit 7 mm all-around

Thanks for the tips, I'll have a closer look inside the wheel wells when I visit my tyre dealer to remove the spacers on Friday, to see if there are any obvious screw head or fender clip issues. Your car looks great with the low stance, and the tyres fill out the wheel wells nicely! I also like...
  13. Unexpected issue with H&R spacer kit 7 mm all-around

I just got the H&R spacer kit with 7 mm offset on all four wheels (just wanted a slight offset for visuals, and also wanted to make sure I didn't run into any issues, so decided against 15 mm). My car is a GTS Sport Turismo 2023 with the RS Spyder Design 9.5x21" front and 11.5x21" rear rims...
  14. Would you consider trading certain interior and exterior parts due to specific color requirements?

Hi, I'm about to purchase a used Jet Black Metallic Taycan GTS Sport Turismo '23, but I'm not completely content with the equipment specification from a purely aesthetical viewpoint (I'm very picky and came as close as I think is humanly possible with this specific car though :-), and wonder if...
