So jealous you guys having your cars delivered on schedule.
My order just got another unexpected delay .
Car has been sitting at the San Diego port (was already held at Emden port for over two weeks). The deliver date when it arrived the port was 4/24 then 4/28, then on 4/26 it was pushed to...
TYD on website says my deliver date is 5/5, which is tomorrow. But today, I download the Porsche app for the first time and saw this.
How reliable is this information on Porsche app from your guys experience? I know the app overall has horrible reviews so I don’t want to sweat over it...
It's my assumption base on the following statement from Porsche "Due to a temporary supply shortage, Porsche is currently experiencing a shortage of heating modules (cabin heating) designed specifically for Taycan. As a result of this situation, certain Taycan vehicles are currently being held...
So it happens to me now... :crying::mad:
Car arrived at San Diego port last weekend. HOWEVER, the next step has been keeping pushing back ever since. It was 4/24, then 4/28 and now 5/5 (just two days before I thought the wait is finally over).
And I also notice the my step by step bar on TYD...
I searched "Gloves Sunrise" online, all the marine traffic sites show a Korean flag vessel instead and it's already passing California heading toward Korea.
No idea how to actually use this information.
At least the Emden to San Diego time frame lines up with my TYD schedule tho.
The HUD on my BMW 640i was totally not visible when having polarized sunglasses on either. That's why I didnt option HUD on my Taycan cuz I feel it is practically useless, especially in California where there is barely a chance you don't wear shades while driving.
There is absolutely no explanations for how Porsche handling this situation.
My order was built and transported to the port AFTER gryphon99's scheduled dates, but it will be delivered in May despite being held at Eden Port for extended of weeks.
However, my order was built and transported to...
Just (finally) got the first update on TYD since 3/1. My 2/20 built (has been holding at the Emden port since 3/1) now scheduled to leave on 4/7, will arrive San Diego 5/5. It's about a full month delay.
So guess I will see you guys on the May delivery thread? ?
@Jenner nope. nothing updated on my TYD. Delivery date remains the same as 4/17; however my SA told me it shows 4/21 on his Porsche tracking system. I am completely in the dark at this point.
There are only two VW shipments heading to San Diego in March. If my car didn't make it on the 3/13...
Just curious about how everybody's experience of getting a Taycan.
From where I am, I was told from multiple dealerships to pay $15k to $20k USD for the markup due to the high demands when I was shopping around back in Nov. 2022.
Ofc, I wasn't that desperate to pay that much to the...
My built has been holding at Emden port since March 1. It has passed the scheduled departure date March 14, yet still no update at all on my TYD. Delivery time remains April 17 but my SA told me it's April 22 on his Porsche tracking system.
Absolutely a mess without any information from Porsche...
I have exact same production date as OzzieT's GTS but mine was proceed to finish. However, it has been holding at the German port since March 1 and has passed the scheduled departure date with nothing update.
My SA booked one for himself at the same time with my order. He said his delivery date...
