Hello everyone. I took delivery today of my new 2023 chalk 4s! I am stoked. It is absolutely amazing to drive and looks so good. Also it is several times more good looking in person than in photos in my opinion, it really is a head turner.

Was nervous as this is my first really really nice (and for me very expensive) car. But its definitely feeling worth it after spending the whole day with it. Good luck to the rest of you!
It's so beautiful... enjoy!

So jealous you guys having your cars delivered on schedule.

My order just got another unexpected delay .

Car has been sitting at the San Diego port (was already held at Emden port for over two weeks). The deliver date when it arrived the port was 4/24 then 4/28, then on 4/26 it was pushed to 5/5; and yet again, this morning (5/5), it changed to 5/19.

Porsche is just ruthlessly toying my mood and emotions at this point.

Only one thing I was assured by Porsche is, they said the delay is nothing to do with the heater. If it was, they would have straight up listed the deliver date to between August and October.

Let alone the original 3/31 deliver date when I placed order in Nov., 22. Delaying and waiting continue...

I definitely didn’t get my car on time. I was initially projected to get my car by march according to TYD. My build ended taking almost 4 weeks to get built and it sat in the port for almost 3 weeks until the right ship came along and took my car to the US. After it got here to the US port it took another entire week to make it to the dealer, and then I took delivery an additional week later. I thought I was going to be an April delivery but things got pushed back a whole month, almost two.

Things are just slow right now it seems like.

The wait will definitely be worth it though. Day two with my car today and it is a beast. Just feels really premium to me and all the folks I show it to, and it just looks so good.

Just learnt from the dealer that mine’s still at Emden. There are no X’s against it so it’s not got any issues but I was told it was on the vessel and due at Sheerness last weekend. A bit annoyed to say the least as I have arranged to sell my current car. Wife’s replacement Macan was finished a day later and did make the vessel suggested and is at Sheerness, waiting to come to the dealership. I might join the June delivery thread!!

I was hoping to make it to the ship today, May 8, to get it by the end of the month, but my TYD just updated to May 22, so hopes to get it in May are pretty much gone.

I guess I will start a June Delivery thread because my TYD delivery just changed from 5/24 to 6/10.

Dealer updated me with a 5/12 delivery date, fingers crossed :)

original date was 5/2 but was recently updated that there was mechanical issues, either the car or the transportation :/

3 weeks from being at Emden. Good turn around.

Last update for me was Saturday finished production, based on your turn around, I should get it within this month fingers crossed.

Great stuff!! Out of interested, when were your production photos taken?
Not sure I can see a date on the photos, they just appeared on my profile when the order moved on to stage 4.

I can't recall who (sorry) but I was advised that when on the web portal, download the production image, open it, right click it, and open the 'details' or 'file info' ...in there is the date it was taken.
