IMHO, if it’s on the Monroney, you’re entitled to it by purchasing the car. Further, IIRC you were given a letter from Porsche at delivery stating it would be retrofitted. Furtherer, Porsche created a campaign that included doing the retrofit, then decided to delete those task from it...
Yes, it seems in the 21st century, we’ve exchanged fumbling in your pocket for your keys for fumbling in your pocket for your phone. In my case, usually after I’m already strapped into the pilot seat. ?
Maybe one day there will be a wearable that does all the things while staying charged for a...

Taking my car back to service probably tomorrow...
I just keep my rear seats folded down (with the headrests attached & completely retracted). That way they’re ready to go the once or twice a year someone’s actually sitting in the back seats.
Minor braying for now, but the last two times it’s escalated to bray-cophony the more the friction brakes are used, so fully expecting that to happen shortly.
They had to replace the master cylinder, or the pump that doubles as the master cylinder on the Taycan.
However, I’m starting to get excessive pedal travel AGAIN. Waiting for the goat to start braying a little louder before I take it in for the third time…
What could possibly be so special about a 12v battery for it to cost. $1200+? Except of course for the cost to move it from one side of the Porsche parts counter to the other. Are there no aftermarket alternatives?
