No he doesn't.
My SA has absolutely horrific communication. She only replies to me MAYBE once per day. I would expect replies within 2-3 hours of questions. For status updates they are always vague and don't provide real information.
Last time my car was there for a significant service issue...
There are apparently a whopping 67 steps involved in the upgrade (so much for nearly OTA upgrades :) ). Car will hopefully be done at 8pm PT tonight if it doesn't fail or go kablooey. I'll have it in the morning PT. They will send me a photo of the PCM when it is done also.
That is my update :). It’s all I know right now. I’ll post when I get I confirmation it finished and when I get it back (it took this dealer nearly a week to apply the 2021 update btw)
Interesting, I was expecting my car to sit in service for like a week, given how well it went last time.
My SA still has not gotten back to me confirming anything today
Just wireless carplay in general. On my 2020 with the 2021 update it ONLY shows on the middle screen, not the passenger screen. I guess I'll find out when I get mine back from the 2023 update.
Yea, the SAs usually don't know that much and its the techs that would.
We use Fremont and I'll post once I finally hear back from them. (I don't honestly like them. I'm considering switching to redwood city)
is that just from plugging in to USB like the MMBBox? Where does CarinBox come from? A quick Google search turned up nothing.
Will that show on the passenger screen, or only the main screen? (I know Carplay, atleast on the 2020 software can only be on that screen)
