Mine was just picked up for an appointment tomorrow to get it done. We will see what happens, I'll post here what I find out.
The dealer is terrible with communication, so I don't expect to hear anything till late in the day.
Anyway, I'm scheduled for my car to be picked up today and updated tomorrow. They told me they would do the update and return by EOD Friday. I just laughed, because I know it will likely take them 2-4 days to do the update, given I'll be the first one (although I'm guessing they will do mine and...
It shouldn't. In my Lucid Air it takes under 30 seconds to authorize and charge. I use it quite frequently at the mall near me (they have 350wh spots :) )
I can't compare with the Taycan as I have the 2020 without P&C.
You are correct in that regardless of the reason, it helps us. I have a 2020, so I am very much looking forward to getting the update.
My comment is more around "don't assume that because a company did something good, that was their intention". My experience with the brand has been more in line...
This is honestly not really a kudos to Porsche. If they could, they would have left early adopters in the cold. The fact that the 2020s have only had 1 major update until this (to something they promised before delivery in wireless carplay) says that they did not intend on providing this to the...
My dealer is super confused.
So my 2020 Turbo that is NOT tagged as ANA6 (possibly because of passenger screen?) should be tagged for WNJ8 campaign? This will be available as of Friday, correct?

We are aware that Porsche has published a press release to Taycan owners with a planned software...
His comment is still valid with that notice, it could be an issue with compatibility between chipsets and the software.
That said, I think its most likely they just didn't tag all cars for some reason.
The NHTSA document I linked to seems to imply all 2020,2021,(and some 2022) vehicles, regardless, it specifically calls out versions 33xx, 35xx, 36xx. My car is a 2020 Turbo with 3397 and does not show as in the recall when I go onto Porsche's website or check NHTSA. (So I'm wondering if my...
Has anyone figured out why some 2020s have ANA6 on them, but others do not? Mine does not show ANA6, but I assume the dealer can still apply the update, right? Mine has version 3397 and this PDF says 33xx, 35xx, 36xx

Do we know why some 2020s in the US have ANA6 tagged and others don't? My car doesn't show ANA6, although I have my dealer picking it up on 21st to do the update.
CarPlay actually uses both wifi and Bluetooth.
That said, Porsches implementation on my 2020 is garbage (it was delivered via a dealer delivered software update for all 2020s). It only works maybe 30% of the time. I’m hoping this update fixes that bugginess.
