I'll be curious to hear your thoughts on AR. I have it, but I don't have prior experience to compare it to.
Nothing wrong with loving white! And white would look even cooler if more cars had unique colors.
I do think the Taycan is a sexier looking car, and I also happen to like the sharper, more aggressive look of the 2025+ models and think it suits the aggressive headlights well. That said, I would be essentially just as happy with the 2024's front end - doesn't really make much of a difference...
99% of the time everyone treats me as any other car. 1% of the time they are extra generous in giving me space or moving out of my way. 0% of the time has anyone been aggressive. Cultural differences where I live, I suppose.
I won't go as far as arguing your point is invalid for certain areas, but you can charge at non-EA stations, very notably Tesla charging stations. I just did a google search and saw dozens of unique charging stations in your pictured area.
Why is this even a serious topic in 2025 when EV charging stations are so fast and plentiful? It's not like you're abandoned on the side of the road when your EV runs out of range. And you get to fill it with a (much? depending on where you live) cheaper fuel than a gas/PHEV car.
I've wished for many years that cars would adopt a scalar approach to brake lights (the harder someone is braking, the stronger their red light). I was just noticing a few days ago with my own Taycan that the moment my foot barely touches the brake pedal, the lights turn on. I have my car set to...
Apologies if I missed it elsewhere (notably, this thread doesn't have the word "matrix" appear even once) - can this tune also turn on matrix headlight functionality for cars equipped with a matrix headlight who live in the US where the software is locked to perform as a standard high beam?
I was reading a few threads yesterday (many of the replies were years old, many were newer) with responses stating how they miss the sounds/feel of gas engines after buying a Taycan. I almost made a thread to discuss it, but I didn't. So I'll say a tiny part of what I've been thinking here...
Welcome to the 1.2 club! What a striking color, and it looks so polished in that first picture. I'm glad you're feeling positive about the upgrade! I hope it gives you many years of fun with minimal issues.
I just got back from a ~1hr rround trip drive and was thinking about how much I love my car while checking to see the latest threads here. Watching this video is only deepening my passion.
God damn I love my Taycan.
We don't have a regular meet of sorts, but it seems like it's somewhat an adhoc yearly thing (or whenever someone decides to put effort into organizing one). @snstevens put together a meetup over the summer - not sure if he wants to take the reins again next time warm weather rolls around.
There are so many other things I'd prioritize their engineers to work on, but maybe I'm in the minority. Maybe this is what Porsche enthusiasts need to convert.
Quickly following up because the process was simpler to find than I expected. When you say you added him, I'm assuming you meant on your car/Porsche profile - right?

Following these steps? I was thinking there might be some automatically checked...
Snohomish? Your husband should join our next Seattle / King County meetup! (I'm kidding - you should come, and feel free to bring him)
As for your issue - are you saying you added him to the title or added him to some sort of car or porsche account profile? Either way, I'd be inclined to assume...
I strongly suggest you install a level 2 charger at home. It should be much cheaper than public charging, and you may find yourself rarely/never using public charging due to at-home charging. It's one of the biggest blessings of EVs!
There isn't some magical reason to uncover - maybe it's something you need to experience to appreciate. Before buying my Taycan, I solely drove my Model Y for the last 5 years, and it felt like such a great quality of life feature to only need my phone anywhere I went (I have a phone wallet...
I don't follow the 911 market much, but how certain are you of this truth? I only ask because I've seen countless forum posts and YouTube videos claiming and asserting the 911 as some special case of value retention and to throw shade at the Taycan.
A huge draw for me when considering the Taycan was Porsche Active Ride. There are ways to invest in an advanced driving experience that aren't just "gas engine go brrr," and I'd love to see Porsche think of ways to capitalize on a more unique driving experience.
