I had 3885 via OTA back in Jan and didn't notice any differences or any crashes of the PCM itself, but regardless, I stopped using the built-in satnav and PIRM about 1.5 years ago. There is nothing intelligent about the service; it quite often brought me issues.
I stick to ABRP separately and...
I'd never consider using it unless it's provided for free and carries a lifetime warranty for both components: PWC en the car, which is not going to happen with Porsche.
Nice little gimmick, but utterly useless. They should look into the possibility of integrating the MagSafe.
that was my thought too, after several attempts with good connections (full signal from the build-in SIM) and wifi/ 5G, still didn't get it to work, so i rest my case.
Lovely, simply doesn't work!
Porsche app: v14.25.2 build 380
iOS: 18.2.1 rebooted the iPhone once the app and iOS were updated.
got an error (persistent) msg:
"Climate control
Climate: the function is currently available. Currently no data connection to the vehicle can be established."
went on the configurator and mirrored the specs of my GTS, it landed at a whopping €206,544.
that's nearly 10k more expensive, not too disastrous however I dislike the look of it, it's simply awful!
with the dynamic package (active ride, rear steering, and performance tires), GT paddles, and...
did you specifically want a sport turismo with the new model(from your sedan)? a fully specced tts is almost at a price of turbo gt,
I personally *still* prefer the jl1 look, but of course to each his own,
they added turbo gt steering with the two-mode switches and paddles, then you lose the heating function.
except for the new increased performance comparing j1 and J1.2 modes, is this the only thing new on gts?
interesting, so they did prioritize PTS orders at the factory, 7 months sounds pretty reasonable with the changes and delays.
look forward to your next road trip with the new TTS, curious to see how much of a difference (or is it a game changer) it brings with improved range at max charging...
in case the factory can't do anything about it, I think your local dealership can alter it for you, have you got an allocation for the turbo GT as i read on this forum that every dealer has got 1 slot due to the limited production? and what's the eta of your new Turbo S?
for me it doesn't make sense to have regen if it's weissach equipped, also there is an additional PASM knob with a center button, what does it do beside you could adjust the suspension? the attach mode is to be activated from the drive mode knob, it's confusing
edit: the smart lift function is...
couldn't agree more with the OP!
This is not an investment, never was and never will be, instead I'd love to see posts about offers with great specs, so ready-to-be Taycan owners can take advice from the experienced folks
